From the moment we arrived the staff were super friendly and welcoming. From the reception staff, to the waiting staff to our guide for our safaris we were really looked after. The lodge itself is stunning with a watering hole on site where we saw impalas and were even treated to a couple of elephants stopping by. Food at the lodge was great, we particularly enjoyed the braai night. On our safaris, which were included in our stay, we were treated to sightings of the big five and our guide, Freedom, was really knowledgeable. Overall we had an incredible and memorable stay and definitely want to visit again!

This is an exceptional lodge in an amazing environment. My wife and I had been on safari many years ago in the Masai Mara and yet Pilanesberg while different was just as rewarding. There were two organised safaris each day and each and every one created memories to cherish. I loved the staff, who were so proud of the game reserve and so committed to making sure it was a wonderful experience, always friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, the chef was just great. I loved our spacious lodge and its little plunge pool. Our safari guide Humbu really helped make the experience special. We are so grateful to him, with his incredible enthusiasm and knowledge, for the way he used his wisdom from 22 years of doing this job to orchestrate the best possible sightings for whatever animals we encountered.

Breakfast could be improved with something like cereals, yogurt, different types of teas and hot drinks. The location cant be changed because it is in the national park, so it is good .

Love the bush views from the stoep bed and tub. Food is as excellent as ever. Staff cannot be more than accommodating. Being partially disabled the extra length the staff went to accommodate my needs was exceptional. All in all will be back for my fourth stay at either ivory or shepherds lodges. Once again. Thank you for my short breaks unforgettable 🐾🙏

The experience at the hotel was amazing. They asked us in advance what we would like to eat and if we had any dietary restrictions! The hotel's breakfast is incredible with many options. I would like to mention our safari experience at the Game Lodge; we had two guides, Sibu and Helen, both very knowledgeable and skilled. They showed special attention to my pregnant wife.

An overall great experience with extremely friendly staff. Nice food mostly served at the table which added to the exclusive experience of the place. Really well equipped cabins with outdoor showers. My son very impressed with the wifi even if our cabin was located quite far away from the main building. Last but not least mostly great safari drives. We managed to get on five fine drives in total during our stay. Didn't get to see all of the big five though. But still an amazing experience for us being first time on a safari lodge.

Lush Private Game Lodge is simply stunning, the location, facilities and interior design are flawless. The staff are incredibly welcoming, polite and friendly, always putting guests first. You really do feel special. The game rides out are brilliant and the rangers are great, so knowledgeable and make the whole experience worth while. I would highly recommend this venue for people looking for that luxury experience for a safari break.

I am very happy that I linked a businesstrip to Johannesburg with a weekend stay at the game lodge. Very nice and comfortable acommodation. Good facilities and great safaris. Going out before 5 in the morning seeing the wildlife was just amazing. The afternoon drives was also very nice. Very good meals at the lodge with a view to a waterhole.
