This was probably the best hotel we stayed in during our trip in South Africa. Everything is extraordinary. Such a pity we could not stay longer. I would go back to Oudtshoorn just to stay at the Riverside Guest Lodge.

Thabile Lodge is truly a special place. Nestled in the rural area of Oudtshoorn, it offers the perfect setting to relax by a beautiful pool while taking in the stunning mountain views. What stood out the most was the impeccable taste of the owners in decorating the space, creating a unique atmosphere and an incredibly pleasant experience. The staff was excellent, with prompt and thoughtful communication. It was my mother’s birthday, and they went above and beyond to make her evening truly special. The dinner served on-site was absolutely delicious, and the spacious rooms, complete with powerful showers, added to the comfort. In summary, this was a unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Thabile Lodge and look forward to returning for a longer stay in the future!

Everything! The host Richard is the most charming, warm host I have ever met. The property is perfectly situated in a very safe, quiet upmarket area. It is quiet and feels like you are out on a farm, yet so close to town that you can take a refreshing walk. I heard some lions in the mornings from a game reserve nearby. Simply lovely. The facilities were more than adequate and I had eveything I needed and more!!

Only 10 km from the famous Cango Caves, De Poort Country Lodge offers self-catering accommodation. A continental breakfast is available on order at an extra charge and only available as room service....

Absolutely everything! The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. All the staff were amazing and the food exceptional. The gardens were neat and the facilities great. Had booked for 1 night, was so impressed and stayed for 2. We will definitely be back!
