This is a new, wonderful, cozy lodge and everything is perfect here starting from the location, nested between amazing vineyards but a short ride away from downtown Cape Town. The rooms are big, fully equipped with everything you need for a perfect stay and super clean. The breakfast is abundant, made of top quality fresh ingredients every morning. A perfect place like this can only be ran by a perfect host and this is Abigel, she will really make your trip special.

Very beautiful property, the rooms are spacious and cozy. The facilities and amenities were very good. Although located nestled in the mountains outside of Cape Town you do hear the traffic during the day. The view from our room to the garden and from the observation deck to the sea were lovely. The staff was so nice as well, really accommodating, friendly and making sure we had a perfect stay. Would recommend 100%!

We had an amazing time at the Cactusberry Lodge. The room was not super big but very nice and newly renovated. Dorian is an awesome host, who gave us a lot of recommendations for Cape Town and when to do what to have the best experience. He (and his team well) really made our stay unique. If we ever come back to Cape Town we would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much for a really great time 🙂

The enitre place is amazing! They have lovely 6 dogs in the property who are absolutely adorable. They make the place lively. The whole setup is very beautiful and peaceful. The lodges are very nice and cozy. There is everything you will need in the kitchen too. Also the owners are very helpful and nice people to deal with. We loved everything about this place and would recommend everyone to stay here.

So on my last two nights there, a leak sprung from the ceiling. Low and behold, the moved me to one of the best rooms in the lodge. The view over the harbour and the mountains were just fantastic. Otherwise, better than most in Cape Town.
