The location of the lodge is wonderful. The rooms have an excellent view to the river where the animals roam around. Good for game viewing and relaxing between the game drives. Good food (they cared very well for the dietary requirements of my wife). The chalets are modern and very well maintained.

My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights and it was simply incredible! The care and attention to detail were something I hadn’t experienced in a long time. They were always making sure we had the best experience possible. We arrived late, and even so, they prepared a special lunch just for us. The bed was super comfortable, and the thoughtful touch of leaving hot water bottles made everything even more special. There are 2 game drives per day, and we were able to see the animals really up close, with guides who were so attentive and passionate about what they do. I must give a special thanks to Tamara, who was always so helpful and even assisted me in recovering my jacket that I had forgotten at the lodge. I highly recommend it with my eyes closed! An excellent place to stay — just book it and enjoy the best safari!

What a great stay! We were really satisfied by our stay. Absolutely highlights were the amazing location and the super friendly staff. The Lodge is located next to the river, which gives the opportunity to see a lot of animals. We saw for example some; crocodiles, hippos, babboons and elephants next to the river. Regarding the staff: super friendly, good organized and you feel directly welcome! Not unimportant, the lodge is clean and all needed facilities are there! We would definitely recommend to go here and will go back when we are in the surrounding.

Location in the private reserve was fantastic with pool and a view to animals passing by. The two daily Game Drives were also fantastic with guides that have a high level of knowledge of all topics concerning the private reserve and animal life. We felt completely save eventhough we were very close to both lions, elephants, girafs and a lot of other animals. Food was delicious and well-prepared. Atmosphere at the bush lodge were welcoming and calm. At the bush lodge has in totale room for maximum 6 people which makes a friendly and close atmosphere. Our biggest compliments to Niel and Milly who made our 2 day stay unforgettable. We are definitely planning to come back and bring our family next time.

The property was very good, had great facilities such as a nice pool area and the honesty bar. The staff were amazing and really made us feel like family. We even went out for a meal with them on our final evening. Bianca the chef was amazing, all her meals were so good and diverse. Selby our game driver was the best we could’ve asked for, he was amazing at spotting all the animals and taught us so much, was a genuinely nice guy aswell. We already want to come back and will miss all of the staff. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to do a safari. We had a perfect experience. The hospitality was amazing aswell, they really do all the little details that made our trip so good.

It’s hard to pick just one thing we liked, because honestly, this was one of the best stays we’ve had in all our extensive travels. Missing out on a place like this would be a real shame, the accommodation, interior, and rooms were absolutely top-notch. The location was also perfect for visiting Kruger National Park. It is truly the most beautiful accommodation we have ever been to (and we are regular booking.com customers). The decor and style of the owner is sublime. Everything is perfect down to the last detail. The accommodation is equipped with everything you think you need. Super clean. A great chef who makes you a 5-star breakfast every morning. Very reasonable drink prices with the honest bar principle, write down what you used. The location is central and very safe. Wildlife in the backyard. Indeed, you never want to leave here. Everything about our stay was amazing. Francis and the team went above and beyond to make sure we had the most incredible time. The tree house was beautiful with views out into the bush. Louis was a great game driver sharing so much knowledge and having fun with us the whole time and working hard to make sure we saw the most animals we could. The food was delicious and they made sure you would enjoy everything. Nothing was too much for the staff - it really felt like a family and they welcomed you in and gave the best experience. I can’t wait to stay here again!!
