Rustic stay, and ideal for a those who appreciate being one with nature. (Not so much for travellers seeking a modern stay). Excellent, farm fresh food! We stayed a night, the staff were extremely helpful with arranging affordable cabs to and fro the town and went out of their way to help.

We loved everything about our stay here. The tasteful property is a peaceful, relaxing place away from the bustle of Sapa town. Moreover, the surrounding area gets less rain and is warmer than Sapa town, which is more affected by the clouds/weather systems that hover around Fanspian. The terraces and corn fields in the area can be easily explored by foot or motorbike and are stunning, as is the vista from the homestay. You can have clear glimpses into the lives of the local ethnic minority groups as they monitor grazing water buffalo, play in the streams or tend their crops. The manager of the property, Chili, and the rest of the staff are incredibly accommodating. They supported us with all of our needs and even drove us to pick up some local BBQ roadside chicken. The food at the homestay restaurant was both healthy and delicious. Overall, you really can't beat this place for value. Would happily return and recommend it to anyone!

the location of the lodge is a bit remote and hard to reach with public transportation BUT the view was amazing, the rooms are big and comfortable and breakfast was good. for me what stood out the most was the responsiveness of the team, we got great recommendations, hired a scooter to drive around Sapa, hired a private tour guide all through the lodge and with good prices.

Everything. The location is perfect, about 8 min from Sapa by car or scooter, and the view to the rice fields is beautiful. It’s located right next to the beginning of the tracking path to rice fields. The staff is amazing, very nice people, always ready to help. We rented two scooters to explore and everything went perfectly.

Our family had young kids and they absolutely loved the company of the 5 dogs this property had. There are simple games available at the reception. Planning our day to day itinerary was seamless as property manager Uyen was very helpful to helping us coordinate everything ( be it a trekking guide , driver or suggesting things to do ) . Location was quaint and you get a beautiful view of the mountains and river. Food options on the menu was sufficient and tastes delicious. Besides the dogs , there are also hammocks, swings and a koi pond to keep kids occupied . Overall a really memorable stay for the family .

Beautiful accommodation in a great location. The staff were incredible and went out of their way to be kind and helpful. We arrived early in the morning of our booked night and went to the lodge to leave our luggage there for the day. The staff offered us a complimentary breakfast and allowed us to have showers there, despite it being many hours before check in. On leaving they very kindly gave us delicious sandwiches for the long journey. We felt very looked after.

Amazing location in the northern valley, 20' away by taxi from Sa Pa. Perfect place if you want to experience the merger with nature and avoid the loud downtown. Easy to move around by motorbike, that you can rent directly at the lodge. Dan was great and super helpful!

We had such a lovely stay here at Sapaxa Eco Lodge - the staff were so helpful and welcoming! Sorted us with a night time pick up from the bus station, laundry and renting a motorbike. The room was clean and spacious. A hot shower and the best bed I have ever slept on. Soooo comfy! The projector was a nice touch as it was raining so we spent an evening watching a movie! 20 min scooter ride from the main town which is fine by scooter or the hosts can organise taxis for you

The views were amazing and loved the natural feel of the lodges amongst the rice terraces. E treated ourselves to a massage and hike which we couldn't recommend enough!
