A cozy place in the middle of the rainforest. Houses surrounded by trees, the sound of the forest, birds singing. It's nice to sit on the balcony in the evening with a glass of wine. Communication with Teresa was a real pleasure.

This is the perfect lodge to escape the usual bubble of Tanzania safari tourism. The lodge is run by the in partnership of the Watoto Foundation, which actively improves and improves the life of street children in Tanzania. - Food was good and prepared with love and care. - Breakfast was great, lot of fresh fruit, eggs to order and big portion - Dinner was served in multiple courses. All nice, daily changing menu - The lodge is run by solar energy so expect romantic lighting and a positive feeling of remoteness. My highlights were: - Coffee walk with local guide and women from the neighbouring village preparing coffee from green bean to roasting and brewing while singing Tanzania songs. - Reading, meditation and spending time in the Tea room with view on the picture perfect swamp… waiting for the hippo to come by. - Looking at the sky at night while sitting by the outside fireplace - Visit of the neighbouring National park

I liked the room ,it was very nice and comfortable. Room was clean and had lovely balcony with a lovely wives. Beautiful gardens and view of the both mountains. We were greeted by lovely staff and made welcome.

Beautiful location just outside town in a rural area with Mount Meru view - just stunning. The lodge itself differs a lot from other places in and around Arusha in architecture and atmosphere. It feels airy and at the same time cozy, still providing sufficient space for privacy if needed. A big thank you again to the very friendly and helpful staff who offered great service, kept the place very clean and prepared delicious fresh food. I loved the experience of my stay and will for sure be back!!

Everything about this hotel was amazing: cleanliness, location, appearance, food, and people. The hotel is not in the city center, but that's actually a plus because it's very peaceful here. You can relax or work remotely if needed. Getting to the center is easy by minibus, taxi, or tuk-tuk. And the food here is absolutely delicious! 🥰 Breakfast always includes fresh fruits and crepes, but you can also request lunch or dinner, and you'll get wonderful, freshly prepared meals. A special thank you to Barack, who helped us with absolutely everything and made us feel at home.

Located 6 km from Uhuru monument, Samora River Lodge offers a garden, a shared lounge and air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi.

Great staff and good dinner and breakfast service. It was a short drive out of town but just perfect. We stayed in the rooms not the villa rooms overlooking the river.....so a less relaxing but still good.
