The location was scenic and peaceful. The gardens were stunning, so we enjoyed sitting outside and taking in the views. John was extremely accommodating. We had to change our booking dates at short notice, and somehow, he managed to make it all work with no stress for us.

Excellent stay at the country lodge! We had the whole house to ourselves and it was so nice to enjoy big full kitchen and make yourself fresh eggs for breakfast, enjoy big luxurious living room, lots of room for our baby to crawl around and explore. We also saw friendly sheep in the morning and it was lovely! Also location is great, especially if you, like us , continue next morning to Aoraki Mountain (Mt.Cook).

The host, Ina, was excellent in communicating via message and leaving so much information about Queenstown and the surrounding areas. The cleanliness and presentation were of high standard and we had a lovely stay here. Be mindful that it is not fully contained and does not have a kitchenette, but there is a small fridge, toaster and kettle for a light breakfast. Everything was handled incredibly well and professionally by Ina, who clearly knows what she's doing as a host!

I had an amazing stay at The Hidden Lodge! Wendy and David were incredible, they gave me a lots of tips for sightseeing and things to do in the city. The views from the lodge were beautiful and the accommodation was very comfy with large rooms and a delicious and fresh breakfast. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the city and is looking for a cozy and enjoyable stay. I would definitely come back.
