Super friendly host. We needed to go to the hospital and our host and his brother were really supportive and arranged the transfer and the communication. They wanted no money for that. Really nice people

Absolutely brilliant, I'm so glad we read all the reviews and found this hidden gem! What a great place, it will definitely keep getting amazing reviews so don't think twice about booking it! Some reviewers thought it was 'out of town' which we thought was hilarious, it's a couple of minutes walk down to the action, but with the reassurance that you can retreat to a peaceful jungle like setting with a really good chance of seeing the resident giant squirrel. Charming, chatty, helpful host who welcomed us with lovely coffee and cake, we felt very spoilt! He organised a very good taxi to the South Coast for a much better price than other places. Thank you so much, you made the trip to Sri Lanka very special!

Lovely cottage style room with a everything you need. Great value for money. Best view of Nine Arch Bridge in Ella. Nihal and his beautiful family are locals who built and run the place. He will drive you anywhere you want to go in his tuk tuk and his wife makes a great local breakfasts. About 10 mins drive to town which means there's no noise from the loud streets and bars.

The location, peaceful and calm. The dinner, homes cooked for us was amazing and so delicious. Traditional Sri Lankan meal. Breakfast also great and they catered to mess being vegan well.

Best stay ever!! Everything was amazing!! The extremely caring host, the comfortable great room, bed, lighting, amazing view to the train tracks and lush nature. We immediately felt like part of the family. Devaka has been showing us around his beautiful garden. He is generous, warm -hearted- a very great person! He got deep into our hearts. He brings the word "homestay" to another level- never have we felt so at home in such short time!! We got a tea from his own garden every day as well! The food is home cooked and of course also very delicious. It is the best authentic caring beautiful homestay ever in Sri Lanka
