Everything was so well prepared, the ac in our room worked perfectly and all of the basic amenities were there. The location is just perfect, 2 minutes walking to the secret beach which is so far the most beautiful one I’ve seen in Sri Lanka. Outside there is a shower so don’t worry about the sand in your shower. There is a kitchen with fridge and stove, we bought a tuna steak in Tangalle and when asked about using the stove the owner even brought us some spices!

We stayed at this place With my boyfriend during our Srí Lanka trip, and it was simply perfect. Room was so clean, it had everything we needed, the place was peaceful and had a beautiful garden With a lake. Our three days at fishermen’s lodge were super special, we felt so welcome and included in their family. The food in the restaurant was really amazing, the host is a great cook, we loved especially her rice and curry and the grilled fish. The traditional breakfast was also really good! The room was really simple, but still very clean and the host was always ready to help us in any way. You just walk a few steps to the beautiful beach which is nearly empty! In the morning the host took us fishing one time, which was the most special and fun experience! Overall we really recommend coming here for an authentic and local experience with extraordinary people! Thank you for everything! We might come back one time :)

Great place . Top of the mountain .just walking distance from the beach (200m). My wife was doing yoga at the garden .it was really comfortable place . Private parking , Garden ,private bathroom and kitchen . Highly recommended 🥰🩵

our absolute favorite stay in sri lanka! we kept extending it because oh we loved it so much. 1. the place is ideally located between dickwella and hiriketiya. close to the main road but far enough to be quiet! (important for us) 2. the room is extremely clean and well-thought out. very beautifully decorated with so much love and attention to detail. we had everything needed and couldn’t ask for more really. having our own kitchen was a huge plus and you can also do your laundry here. 3. the host Dasitha is one of the nicest (if not the nicest) person we’ve ever met. he was so patient and humble and truly cared about our experience…! very welcoming and friendly. great communication too. made our stay so special. helped us a lot in all possible aspects of our travel. feeling very grateful we decided to stay there and meet him. 4. the space: there’s a quiet outdoor area with sunbeds. we loved it! 5. unbeatable value for the price.! we couldn’t wish for a better accommodation! can’t recommend enough and look forward to coming back. thank you so much Dasitha!
