This was such a nice stay. The host made us feel incredibly welcomed. The property is located just beside a large lake so you can go explore during the day. We went for a morning safari that was arranged by the property host which we loved! When it comes to the food: An amazing Sri Lankan breakfast which we couldn’t even finish. We also opened for 2 dinners made by them and these were restaurant quality meals that we just didn’t expect! Definitely ask for your dinner to be served there, you will not regret! (Sorry I wasn’t able to take better pictures:) )

The little house was great! Very spacious and with beautiful bathroom. Feld very private! We also ordered dinner barbeque – great experience that we suggest. The host was very helpful – organising our safari and also helping to get to public bus t continue our trip to Weligama.

Great accomodation nearby the Yala National Park. The host organised the safari tour for us which was excellent (despite the heavy rain). Lunch and dinner were very good. The staff were attentive and responsive - I would definitely recommend staying here.

The Owner was so helpful with everything! He knows the nature around him very well! We felt 100% safe and for every problem we had the owner had a solution! The beds were very comfortable and the area was so clean and nature oriented... Just amazing! The food was amazing!

Fabulous luxury lodges with very large covered decks set in a very peaceful rural setting close to Yala and close to the beach. A very calming, tranquil place to stay. The bed is huge and extremely comfortable.. The bathroom is as large as many hotel rooms in itself and the additional outside cold shower is a very unusual touch. (And the indoor shower is excellent, too.) The lodges are arranged to enhance privacy and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The roof top swimming pool has a beautiful view over the sea and the food is excellent. Monkeys sometimes visit the grounds, as do a few cows and even occasionally an elephant - though not when we were there. A wide variety of birds surround you in the trees. The manager arranged an excellent half day safari to Yala for us with a very knowledgeable guide.

This place is the definition of a getaway. truly remote. Never thought I'd experience this side of Sri Lanka on this holiday. Very nature based, local food, got to speak to the people in the villages on how they cultivate their crops, went on a very scenic bike ride with friends in the evening with the best views. The RIVER! wow loved every bit of it. We spent around 3 hours here and had a final dip before leaving the next day too. The water flowing over the shoulders felt like a free spa treatment.

It’s in the middle of nature, very calm and peaceful with only the sound of birds to hear. The best thing was the family. The hostel owner is super nice and helpful with any kind of little problem or question! I would 100% recommend it, I have rarely experienced such kindness without wanting anything in return! Also his little girl is the cutest!!
