Meran Golan is in the heart of the wine growing areas of the Golan, which is excellent. Our trip, however, was focused on learning more about the Yom Kippur War and this location was the perfect springboard for daily adventures. Our host was nothing short of superb and was very helpful arranging things for us. We wanted a private tour of the Golan and he stepped up and located us a guide on short notice - anything we needed, he provided information for us or arranged it. The location is lovely, great view of the mountains, song birds, and fruit trees right in the front! I can't recommend this location enough and I hope you will enjoy it too.

The apartment was beautiful arranged and ideal for a one or several day stay... We arranged our own breakfast, but breakfast is also available in the kibbutz. The owner of the apartment offered wonderful suggestions for lunch and also dinner.
