We had an amazing stay at Mathis. The team went above and beyond to make our time as hassle free as possible from providing us with a 4am shuttle, well out of their shuttle times, for our sunrise fishing trip to organising all of our transport to Gili Meno as well as storage so that we did not have to take all of our luggage with for that leg of our holiday. The lodge itself is beyond amazing from the bungalows to the restaurant no detail is too small for this team. Thank you for making our stay so amazing.

The private swimming pool and the wonderful mountain views. The beach was only a 10 minute walk away. Some lovely restaurants. Aldi Resto and Amed beach hotel were great. There is a cleaner (Kadec) who is very nice who comes around in the morning. Apart from that you are on your own So you need to go into the village to enquire about snorkeling, etc. There is a well enough stocked small supermarket near the beach 10 min walk. Wi-Fi was very good. I managed to conduct a webinar.

The villa is phenomenal. The best part is the spectacular view it offers from the top of mount Agung, the green farms below and trees as it all reflects on the private pool. The villa itself is absolutely breathtaking, beautiful art work, high quality fittings, everything has been thoughtfully designed. The hall area offers music system, a guitar and a ukulele and on our honeymoon this place gave us the best experience in Bali. The staff is also amazing and helped us with the luggage as well as prepared an amazing meal. The stunning morning view is forever in my mind and i highly recommend this villa. The walk up to the villa is a bit uphill but all is good once you reach. Stay at least 2 to 3 nights here. All the best to the team.

Very nice and helpful staff. Villa was really nice overlooking the river. They have scooters available for rent. The breakfast was nice too

The choice of using wood for the cabins is a great one. It feels very relaxing and we have a nice view from high up. Comfy bed too. One of my favourite since travelling around Bali.
