William was so helpful with explaining how to get to the property (since it is a bit tricky being so secluded), and was very warm and welcoming in general! The rooms are all within a massive garden, full of interesting plants and trees, and complete with a pool which is really nice to swim in at night when lit up. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with a large porch where you can chill out. Plenty of toads and insects jumping around!

Hotel Aurora offers great lounge area and wooden deck with seating area, hammocks surrounded by lush gardens and the nature allure of Montezuma enchantments.

It was the nicest place we've stayed in since arriving to Costa Rica over a month ago. Hot water in all sinks and shower, peaceful environment, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture, friendly and helpful hosts, good layout, great geographic location.

This place is amazing, no doubt. Its in the middle of santa teresa only 5 minutes from the beacj. Good vibes, Jon himself and his mother are amazing, kind and superhelpful. They helped us book shuttles, taxis and everything. They hooked us up with a great surfteacher namned Dani, if youre gonba take surfclasses do it with Dani! Hes a five star teacher. There are lots of good space for hangout and nice vibes on the evenings. We lived in a private room in a three-stored ”bungalow” which were supercozy. Own toilet and shower, it was clean and wellworkning. No AC but a fan that we kept going at night, this was enough for us. I really have nothing bad to say about this place. Go here!

Best place I’ve been in Costa Rica. It was very clean, the hostess was really nice and it’s such an unique place.

View was beautiful, breakfast was exceptional, bed was comfortable and Brian the host was really helpful and super nice. We saw white faced monkeys, agoutis, coatis and mot mots from the hotel grounds- AMAZING! The walk over the suspension bridge made the walk to town and beach easy, a troop of monkeys even came across the bridge in the morning. The walk to the waterfall is also from the parking lot of the hotel and free for guests.

PERFECT stay! Owners were highly welcoming and friendly, gave us all the information we needed for Santa Teresa (restaurant recommendations and where to catch the best surf). Apartment was luxurious, with a wonderful shared swimming pool to cool off in after the beach. Highlight was using the BBQ facilities and monkeys swinging past in the trees above our heads!
