Table Mountain was absolutely amazing.

Table Mountain was absolutely amazing. Try to book online for October as they have a half price special. We booked for today Sunday 26th - R250 per Adult. Go VERY early on the day. Park at the Kloof Nek Road parking lot for free and take a free shuttle to the Cable station. Queue in the area where it says Queue here if you have a ticket. Go to the back of the queue. If you do not have a ticket tjen you stand in a different Queue to first buy a ticket. Then you go to the back of the Queue for people who do have tickets. We met 4 people who did not have tickets. It took them 2 hours to eventually get up the mountain. The amount of people who went up was a LOT. The queues became quite long in a short amount of tine. Depending on the weather (especially for wind) they will do a test run of the docking of the cable cars. Today the first test run was unsuccessful. Another test run was done about half an hour later. They then announced that the cable cars would start running. Take warm jacket, you can also take your own food and cooldrinks or coffee with you. We decided to have breakfast in the restaurant. The cable car ride does not take long- less than a minute. The cable car rotates around while it is traveling up and down. Perfect for full view and great for videos/photo's. There are great spots to take photo's or videos from. Make your photo's fun and be creative. Nobody really cares how you pose in places for your memorable pics. Trip and time on mountain is totally worth it. If the weather is cold and a bit windy, stay closer to the cable station area in case you want or need to get off the mountain earlier than expected. For the adventurous people, there is a spot where you can absail down - not sure how far down you absail to or how much it costs.

Try climb up if you have stamina and use a cable to.come back down. Pack snacks and bevetages.Don't forget the more you have in your bag the heavier it will be, the harder the climber. Carry a cap/ hat. Sunscreen and lip balm.

The best view on top is to die for ,the joy ride with the cable is superb , in the morning I find it to be quite n not too crowded I went there around 9am , like was shorter but when I came out line was very long which was around or close to 11...but either way this mountain will make you see Capetown all around including robin island and the stadium so go do it , ticket are also reasonable priced.

Breathtaking Views and Unforgettable Experience

Breathtaking Views and Unforgettable Experience Visiting Table Mountain was the highlight of my Cape Town trip. The aerial cableway ride to the summit was smooth and offered panoramic views of the city, ocean, and surrounding landscapes. At the top, the scenery was absolutely stunning, with clear vistas stretching as far as the eye could see. The well-maintained pathways made it easy to explore the plateau and take in the diverse flora and fauna. I even spotted some rock hyraxes basking in the sun! The facilities were clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Cape Town.

Very long queues to get up there in the afternoon, even with pre-booked tickets. We abandoned our visit but only because we have been many times before. Remember that whilst visitors are staggered throughout the day, the return trip can involve a really long wait to get back down again as everyone leaves at around the same time (or tries to!)

Very nice place and very nice apartments. Beautiful design and everything is very comfortable. We were happy to stay with Blue Sea Holidays. Very near Somins Town restaurants, Table Mountain reserve, Miller's view point are not far. We are very greatful to Colwyn for earlier check in, it helped us a lot. Will choose this property next time definitely. Thank you!

As the name suggests, the apartment is located in the (former) port area. The complex is very secure (24-hour reception and access only with a code). For me, the apartment was ideally situated between Downtown and the Waterfront – about half a kilometer from each. While the view was of Table Mountain, it ultimately overlooked bus parking lots. The staff is very customer-oriented and courteous. The complex is well-maintained and quiet.

The location right in front of Big Bay beach offers the most astonishing view towards Cape Town & table mountain and into the bay. Especially sunrise & sunset are mind-blowing every other day. Due to the large windows the apartment is full of beautiful light and feels really cosy. We enjoyed our stay very much.

I loved the location of the apartment – it’s perfectly situated close to fantastic restaurants, shops, and Cape Town’s must-see sites such as the V&A Waterfront and the Museum. Lovely high floor spacious apartment with a comfortable nifty modern design, offering great views of the ocean but with a limited one of Lion's Head and none that of Table Mountain, though nonetheless still a very lovely sunny view and with a large balcony. Centrally located on Bree Street in downtown CapeTown CBD, easily accessible to all of its main points and with a regular and vigilant security desk. Highly recommended for a very memorable and luxury stay in downtown Cape Town !

The location of this hotel is quite good. There was a nice view of the ocean as well as the small lagoon from our apartment. The access to the beach was from outside the hotel. While there were a couple of notices on the beach that the water is polluted and unfit for swimming, the view was still very good. The pool deck adjacent to the bar has a fantastic view of Table Mountain. The rooftop pool on the apartment side was also very nice.
