This hotel was fantastic, but what really sets it apart is the staff. They’re on a whole different level. Every single person we met was so kind, thoughtful, and genuinely cared about making our stay unforgettable. They didn’t just do the basics, they went out of their way to make everything easier and better for us. The heated pool was fantastic—clean, spacious, and a great spot to unwind. The water was just the right temperature. The breakfast was another big plus. There were lots of options. Everything tasted fresh, and the coffee was great.

This hotel is perfect, it's super clean (rare for Hanoi) and the staff is really friendly. Late check-in at the middle of the night was no problem. Nice transportation to the airport also, AC big car with water bottles. No problem to leave our bags with them for a week, without extra cost.

I loved riding around west lake visiting obscure coffee...

I loved riding around west lake visiting obscure coffee shops, playing cards and board games with friends. A beautiful sunset over the lake is amazing to capture. Along with a visit to the local temple. You also can’t pass up a local coconut (Kem) ice cream 🍦.

Its a big lake and everything around it are few and far...

Its a big lake and everything around it are few and far between, we went there for lunch, found a nice mexican (of all things) and a nice park, a more authentic spot with markets but mainly is residential.

It is a nice walk from the Train Street if you don’t mind...

It is a nice walk from the Train Street if you don’t mind dealing with millions of scooters. First you stop at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and from there you have 15 minutes to get to the lake. You will walk through the very nice neighborhoods where most embassies seem to be located. There is a nice trail around the lake where you can observe local sport fishermen.

Located near West Lake, this property had everything we needed for our stay. Induction cooker, chimney, utensils, washing machine, ac with heater and microwave, the room had it all. Was super clean and all the staff were super nice. Felt like home. Highly recommended. Note: The location is a bit far from the Old Quarter, so it's ourside the free pick up zone that most of tour rides offer.

I really enjoyed staying at An Nguyen Lakeside. The very, very, very nice reception staff helped with everything I needed ( i. e. booking tours, a 2nd blanket and giving whatsoever necessary advice). My room on 3rd floor was clean and I appreciated the view to west lake. Coming back from Hanoi old town it is an oasis there. Not forget to mention my daily cappucino with artistic decoration 😊 I can definitly recoomend this place. Thanks to Lina,Ariel, Celina and a the others. You made my stay a pleasure. Monika
