I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel in Hanoi. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, always there to assist with taxis and provide great tips on city attractions. The breakfast buffet, featuring fresh vegetables and fruits, was definitely a highlight of my stay. Our room on the 10th floor offered a lovely view of the nearby church, which added a charming touch. The rooftop bar provided a nice ambiance with delicious cocktails and a wonderful city view. The gym was adequately equipped for a good workout. The hotel was very clean, and the AC was quiet and effective, ensuring a comfortable stay. Overall, it's a reliable choice if you're visiting Hanoi!

Hotel was centrally located, right on the edge of the old quarter. Very convenient to be able to lose myself and discover everything the old quarter had to offer throughout my mornings while easily being able to return to my hotel room for respite the hotel is adjacent to the lake and food street with the cathedral so it's very easy to familiarise yourself with hanoi with such easy landmarks, grab (uber) drivers never had an issue finding the place with just the hotel name. Staff are beyond helpful, absolutely perfect. Breakfast has both Vietnamese and western options in a resteraunt/buffet vibe, so I'm sure it caters to all types of people.

Loved the breakfast - and the fact that it opens at 0630 is perfect if you have day trips out of Hanoi booked! Staff was friendly, kind, accommodating, and super helpful. Would absolutely stay here again if we come back to Hanoi, perfect location and great amenities.

HK lake is so beautiful to me.

HK lake is so beautiful to me. It just like what I pictures the place in my mind. When I grew up in Saigon, the country still divided by that time and I can only pictured the place from the books or magazines or my own imagination. I am so glad to have a chance to see, feel and breathing the air when I was there. I will visit this area again and again.

Architecture, culture, people and on week end festivals. Hoan Kiem lake has it all. A stroll around the lake and you go from old town to French quarter to temples. Mornings you’ll see the locals out early doing their daily exercise and at night catch a dance or two. The markets come alive in the streets at night. And of course a visit to beer street is a must. Sit above the big road about in highland coffee shop and watch the motorbikes or across the road is loveletter cafe. Here you can write ✍️ a love ❤️ letter to your loved one and post it on the walls ceiling chairs.

If you can, go there on the weekends.

If you can, go there on the weekends. The few major streets in the area are closed to traffic and are taken over by pedestrians and kids on motorized vehicles. It is a “hunting ground” for students learning English. On one walk around the lake, we were approached by se real groups of kids asking to practice English. They all have these sheets of paper with set of question that they ask you. Quite often they come with the teacher who will approach you first.

Take an early morning walk around the lake to truly get to know Hanoi and its people. See the various aspects of the culture at play, from groups of elderly having their morning dance session to savvy tourists in colourful Ao Dai posing before Ngoc Son temple. Seeing the contrast between the exuberant human activities in the park and the sparsely populated streets surrounding it is truly an experience.

This within the old quarter is the reason for 99% of visitors to Hanoi. A beautiful lake that it seems the whole of the Vietnamese population want to come to for the special photo opportunities of a marriage. Every day hundreds of couples, awash with flowers and elegant clothes intermingle with the thousands of tourists, dozens of tourist buses, coaches, fast food sellers of every description and quality, cheap nasty gifts offered every few yards with equally cheap and nasty, illegal, sometimes aggresive natives looking to extract by any means your last dong.

Very good hotel , located in heart of the old quarters. Most of the famous cafes , Shopping street and Hoan Kiem lake are walkable distance from the hotel. My room was very spacious, and the bed was super comfortable. I slept so well every night. They even provided a small city map with a list of useful attractions on the back. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They helped me organize a Ninh Binh day tour at a special rate for hotel guests, such great value for money. The location is also excellent, less than a 10-minute walk to Hoan Kiem Lake, Ta Hien Beer Street, and the Old Houses on Hang Buom. I really loved this hotel and can’t recommend it enough.

The staff are what makes this hotel great! They went above and beyond - huge shout out to Sophie at reception. Always greeted with a smile, given ponchos when it was raining and they helped store our luggage multiple times when on trips. Highly recommend because of the service you receive. You are also a walk away from Hoan Kiem lake and the centre.

We had a great stay in this hotel. Hoan Kiem lake and Hop On Hop Off bus counter is just about 8-9 minutes away. There were many options in breakfast, and the front desk manager-Linn did a commendable job in helping us in and around Hanoi.

Staff was very welcoming. Capsules were huge. Beds, washing basins and toilets were all clean. Slippers were provided, but there were not too many so bringing your own is advisable. Location is perfect, in a quiet street near Hoan Kiem lake, with a 7-Eleven and ATMs about a minute away. They also helped me booking tours and taxis, and offered support to make sure I could make it to the hotel safely.

The hotel is in an awesome location right in the middle of the Old Quarter with a lot to do within a short walking distance. Hoan Kiem lake is just a 5 min walk away too. The hotel itself is comfortable and clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful - especially Leo!

A wonderful, fully equipped hotel. It was clean, with water available and replenished daily. Daily cleaning and towel changes were provided. Helen, the receptionist, was also very polite and helpful. Delicious breakfasts, with a wide selection and plenty of vegetarian options. I recommend it to anyone visiting Ha Noi. The location is also excellent, right in the city center, near Hoan Kiem Lake, close to everything.
