The hotel is clean and nice, you have everything to have a rest after intense sightseeing and walking around the old quarter. The location is perfect, close to everything touristic in Hanoi. But the most I appreciated the help and hospitality, that Rosie supported. She helped us to organize pick up from the airport, train tickets to Sapa, Halong Bay boat tour, shuttle to Halong. She provided good prices, clear information, high quality of services. Highly recommend staying in the hotel and organizing activities with them.

This is an elegant building to see in passing but not worth...

This is an elegant building to see in passing but not worth making a special journey to unless you intend watching a performance there. There are equally elegant if smaller buildings especially in the French Quarter to see of all ages and degrees of shabbiness. Remember when walking around the old quarter of Hanoi to look up as you are avoiding getting run over, to see the real Hanoi above the street level and marvel at the styles, building hot-potch and evidence of former if unregulated buildings and wonder how they manage to stay up.

Ng House was a little gem for those who don’t want hotel amenities and prefer to have a private space with everything needed to cook, clean, sleep and have both cosy indoor and outdoor space. 15 mins walk to the Hanoi Opera house - location was great for us - with most things not too far away.
