The hotel was simply wonderful Excellent location and a staff that helps with everything. The hotel is not new, but provides a very pleasant atmosphere in contrast to the big chaos of New York. The 2nd floor where there is coffee, good fruit and snacks 24 hours is simply wonderful. I highly recommend it and thank you for the amazing staff.

The location is great - it's easy to reach using the public transport and lots of famous sights are withing walking distance. Midtown East probably isn't the most romantic location NY has to offer but it's a very safe one, even late at night, and that's definitely a big plus. The staff was very helpful and the rooms are pretty spacious and very clean. We had a nice view of Top of the Rock from our room. The windows also blocked most of the noise coming from the busy nearby avenues. The bathrooms are equipped with hi-tech "Japanese" toilets - this was my first close encounter with one of these and now I totally want one in my home bathroom as well :)

If you're going there to board a cruise do yourself a favor...

If you're going there to board a cruise do yourself a favor & go later in the day like 2pm otherwise you are going to wait in line for 2 hours. they are so disorganized at this port, it was not a good experience.
