A perfect choice for your stay in Istanbul. We liked the neighbourhood - very lively, close to everything (if you use public transport or even if you choose to walk) and it's also very vibrant at night- a lot of pubs, bars and discos close to hotel. Staff of hotel is amazing and does everything to help you. Also the rooms are spacious and nicely designed. We enjoyed the views and will definitely come back soon.

The room had a good size with a lot of space. The terrace and view was wonderful, and the staff offered us breakfast on the terrace. The room, was clean and everything we needed was available in the room/hotel. The hotel is located close to the metro station and within walking distance to Galata and nearby cafes. The Staff and reception were incredibly nice and helpful.

I had an incredible stay at Hotel de Reve, and I cannot recommend it enough! The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful rooms and exceptional service. However, what truly made my experience stand out was the compassion shown by the manager, Burak. I unfortunately got food poisoning during my stay, and Burak went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. He kindly allowed me to keep my room until late so I could rest and recover without the added stress of checking out early. His kindness and thoughtful gestures truly made a difficult situation much easier to handle. The hotel’s attention to detail, combined with staff’s outstanding hospitality, made this an unforgettable experience. I will definitely be returning to Hotel de Reve on my next visit!

Galata Tower

Medieval Galata Tower pierces the clouds above Istanbul’s skyline, a soaring sentinel to the north of the Golden Horn. A replacement for a previous tower that was destroyed in the crusades, this one was built by the Genoese in 1348. or hundreds of years, it was the tallest building in Istanbul – and its uppermost balcony still offers unrivalled city views today.

My favorite spot !

My favorite spot ! Always end up in that area at night , because it’s always busy, coffee shops are open after midnight! You can always hang out there ! I also love all the gifts shops in that area , good places to be souvenirs cheaper than the Grand Bazaar. You can also buy a ticket to go up the Galata Tower and see Istanbul on 360 degrees scale. Beautiful!!! But be prepared for the long line at the ticket window!

While the tower is great vantage point, overlooking the entire Golden Horn, the admission tickets are quite expensive and the place is crammed with crowds. If you decide to visit anyway, aim for the 30min before sunset

Another joke which is not even Turkish, as most of the monuments. Anyway. 35 euros just to inside the tower. If you want to use the lift you’ll pay 60 euros to enter. Told you these guys are born thieves! Amazing.

The place has amazing vibes with the cafes surrounding the tower and the cobbled streets and all but the crowd is just crazy. Everyone wants a pic there for whatever reason and they are a painful hindrance to enjoying the place

It's good that they have installed a set of lifts to get to the top of the tower. So you are not walking up too many steps. Best to get there early or towards sunset to see spectacular views with the mosques and the sea across Istanbul.

The property was near as location and you can easily go even to galata tower by walking which was 28 min from the hotel but it was worth to have a walk like that passing the bridge and admiring the view. The travel busses and trams or ferries was also near to the hotel. Everything was very clean in the hotel the staff was very kind and helpful and they even had a free parking spot before hotel where they was always happy to help with anything you need.

I loved everything about my stay here. The hotel is really conveniently located, close to the action around Galata Tower, and within easy walking distance of Taksim Square. It's also super close to the Tophane tram stop, from which you can get to Sultanahmet easily to visit Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Basilica Cistern. The staff were very pleasant and helpful - shout out to Metin on the front desk. The room was modern, clean, comfortable. The shower was great and the bed & pillows were fantastic.

The location of this hotel is perfect . It is within walking distance to all major landmarks including Galata Tower and Galata Port. There are cafes, restaurants and gift shops aplenty nearby. The hotel is situated near tram rails but it doesn't disturb you at night.

We stayed 7 nights in this great apartment with amazing Galata Tower views. Comfortable accommodation, in fantastic location - walking distance to multiple restaurants, shops and local attractions. Apartment cosy, easily accessible (1st floor) with comfy bed and great bathroom / living room area. Glad we chose this location. Whilst a little hilly, enjoyed lots of walks across the bridge to Blue Mosque / Hagia Sophia / Sultanahmet district. Highly recommend.

When I am in Istanbul I choose this hotel. Good location near the Galata Tower, Istiklal Caddesi Street / many shops, restaurants. There is a metro nearby and it is also nearby you can catch a tram or ferry within 10 minutes walking distance. I recommend choosing a room with a view of the tower. Breakfast is included in the price or you can pay at the reception. Prices in Turkey vary/ we paid 8 euros per person for breakfast. The staff is helpful. The room cleaning is good. I will be happy to be a guest again interesting interior ;)

Best choice for my days in Istanbul. The hotel was in top location, 3 minutes away from Galata Tower on foot. Very clean and the staff was amazing. They also let me stay a bit extra when checking out. Strongly recommend.

I had a great stay at Galata King Suite Hotel. I booked a single room but was upgraded to a spacious twoe-room apartment, which was a pleasant surprise! The hotel is clean, comfortable, and very well located near Galata Tower. A special thanks to Maria, who was incredibly helpful and made my stay even better. Highly recommended!

We travelled Turkey for 14 days visiting several cities and towns. Even in Antalya we had much worse experience than in this amazing hotel in the middle of the busy street neat Galata Tower. I don't know how they managed but there is no sound in the rooms at all even though the streets are full of loud music. We stayed on the 5th floor. The breakfast is good, there is a choice of local food.

Everything about my stay was wonderful! The hotel was perfect — clean, comfortable, and in a great location. You can easily explore the entire Galata neighborhood on foot — Galata Tower and Galata Port are just a few minutes’ walk away. Onur was the nicest host I met in Turkey; he went the extra mile to help in every way he could and made sure I had a great stay. Highly recommend!

We visited the Galata Tower at lunch time and enjoyed a great meal with a table at the window. Our soup and salad were good and the view and atmosphere were great. Much better than being crowded onto the narrow deck above.

Absolutely yes! Istanbul is open restaurant. In every corner you can find perfect meal. Good to try fish restaurant in Bosphorous, or in Çiçek Pasajı. And also good to try restaurants in Maiden or Galata Tower with perfect city view. What it can be better than that!
