Staying at the Shangri-La Istanbul was nothing short of stunning. The hotel exceeded all expectations — from the elegant design to the impeccable service, every detail was perfect. The views of the Bosphorus were breathtaking, and the overall atmosphere was both luxurious and serene. Truly more than excellent — it was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

Upon arrival, the room I was assigned didn't quite match the photos I had seen during booking, which made me a little unsure if I had received the correct room. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I had been given a corner room, and it was quite spacious as advertised – exactly what I needed! I also appreciated that it was located further away from the elevator, resulting in less foot traffic and a quieter environment. The room had an interesting feature – an extra door, suggesting it could be part of a connecting/family room. Thankfully, the neighboring room was unoccupied during my stay, so noise wasn't an issue. However, I do have some concerns about the soundproofing between rooms and corridor. Breakfast, while not having an extensive selection, was perfectly satisfactory for me, and I had no complaints. In terms of location, some popular spots were within walking distance. However, it's worth noting that Istanbul has a steep terrain, so walking everywhere might be challenging for some. I would recommend considering taxis for getting around if you choose to stay at this hotel.
