The staff were very warm, friendly and helpful. The room was cozy, clean and surprisingly spacious. The location was good, you can walk to Khosan road 10-15mins)and you can definitely get around easily. Breakfast was filling with options to choose from. Free unlimited cookies and water( refrigerated) We left at 4am on our check out day but they prepared breakfast for that morning. I would definitely stay again.

Wat Arun

Nestled on the west bank of the Chao Phraya, Wat Arun is known for the way the morning light makes it look like it’s glowing – hence its Thai name, Temple of the Dawn. Whatever time of day you choose to visit, you’ll fall in love with the beautiful architecture of this historic site. Brace yourself for the stairs to the top, and you’ll be rewarded with gorgeous views over the city.

Very touristy.

Very touristy. Lots of places to rent clothes and get a photographer and take some beautiful photos. Most people dress up and have their photos taken so lots of photographers and people having their photos taken. Not a peaceful place to go too but a chance to have some beautiful photos taken.

Most beautiful temple, I recommend going at dusk. If you come from the ferry, you won't see it, but outside the other entrance you can rent traditional Thai clothes to take pictures in at the temple.

Known as the Temple of the Dawn, Wat Arun is a must-visit gem, exuding a distinctive charm from its towering silhouette. Conveniently located just a ferry stop from The Grand Palace, this unique temple justifies its 200 THB entry fee with its captivating allure. For the best experience, plan an early morning visit—ideally before or after exploring The Grand Palace—to fully appreciate its serene beauty.

The monument it's self is beautiful and I would have loved to stay and see/explore more but it is crawling with tourists. To the point that you can't really walk around it or get a nice picture as there are so many photo shoots being had on the steps on the walkway around it and on the grounds. Made it really unenjoyable and took ALL the reverence away from the place.

Located just a stone throw from Wat Arun, this beautiful property sits in the quite surroundings. Gorgeous colonial style house with only 4 rooms does make you feel like being at home. The staff is so sweet, serving delicious breakfast, Rina organised us a boat trip and gave lots of tips. Wonderful stay in Bangkok!

It's pretty basic hostel, you get a bed in a mixed room, but it was very quiet at night, my roommates were great and the hostel has the perfect locasion just across the river from Wat Arun and just one street away from all the pretty temples!! They have very friendly and helpfull staff and everything is also very clean due to the "no shoes inside" policy. The matress was firmer than what I am used to, but I actually liked that part a lot. You can't beat the price for that location, I totally reccomend it!!

The hotel is on a quiet street close to the river. Only about 10 minutes taxi from the Wat Arun / Reclining Buddha. The staff are fantastic and the beds and pillows are really comfortable. Breakfast food was great. There is a great seafood bbq restaurant next door, popular with the locals but unfortunately it doesn’t serve much vegetarian food.

I love this hotel. This is my third time staying here. Although the area is not the most upscale, the hotel is comfortable, clean, and the staff is very friendly. Plus, it's in a perfect location, 30-40 minutes walk from the main attractions in Bangkok. (ICONSIAM, Wat Trai Mit Witthayaram/golden Buddha, The Grand Palace, The Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Arun Ratchawararam, Jim Thompson House, Bangkok Art & Culture Centre.)

I stayed at this hotel twice at either end of my trip and found the staff very friendly and helpful. Good value for money and an easy walk to the port for the hop on hop off ferry to Wat Arun, The Grand Palace and Iconsiam. It is close to Khaosan Rd yet still in a quiet area. The s1 bus from Suvarnabhumi airport dropped me very close to the hotel.

What an amazing little gem of a hotel. The view from our room was spectacular, especially with Wat Arun lit up at night. Comfy bed and excellent breakfast too. The staff are so kind , helpful and efficient. The rooftop bar is a treat and the food in the small restaurant delicious. Would definitely recommend.
