It is a very accessible and central luxurious hotel located in the Siam district! It is perfectly connected to the BTS Skytrain via a short walk through MBK Mall. P-18 may not be a large hotel, but it is surpassing many of the bigger hotels I've stayed at in other cities. Everything from the floors to the rooms to the level of service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and ensured that every aspect of our stay was perfect. The receptionist, in particular, was notably pleasant, friendly, and always smiling. During check-out, we were confused about the train route, and one of the staff members went above and beyond by walking with us to the BTS station. When I offered money for this service, he politely refused to accept it. If I ever return to Bangkok, P-18 will undoubtedly be my first choice for accommodation.

So far the best hotel I stayed in Bangkok. Cozy, amazing staff, nice rooms. We were constantly surprised by small gifts in the room. Very nice breakfast. Free ride to shopping center. I highly recommend this hotel!

If you are seeking 'fabulous fakes' this is your go to in...

If you are seeking 'fabulous fakes' this is your go to in Bangkok. A Mulberry bag will set you back the grand sum of €80 as will LV / Chanel sunglasses - incredible items at a fraction of the 'real' price! Malls are not my thing but we spent our last day in Bangkok with a flying visit to the MBK - my husband went to the barbers on the top floor - fab hair & beard cut. We both got leg and foot massages there. We ate French pastries and had Kebabs on the ground floor. I picked up a bag and a few pairs of sunglasses. We hit the electronics floor and picked up some 'Apple' items. Go armed with pictures of the things you are looking for.

most of the floors are empty of shops that tourists like to shop at all that is left is restaurant's one half floor of clothing and trinkets and bags and phones the rest is empty. also half of patunam market has been demolished
