In all my years in Thailand this is the absolute best hotel I can recommend. This is a true 5 star hotel. The staff is outstanding and the service is exceptional. The breakfast is perfect with everything you could need, and so is the service. Unfortunately only stayed one night this time but will be back soon.

We stayed here for one night during our honeymoon and had an amazing experience. The owners welcomed us with so much kindness, offering homemade treats and refreshments from their incredible bakery and garden. They even prepared a surprise in our room for our honeymoon, which made everything even more special! The place is spotless, cozy, and full of thoughtful details, even their sweet cat made us feel at home. Breakfast was delicious, with several options and everything made with real care. You can truly feel the love they put into what they do. We wish them all the best and highly recommend staying here!

Highly recommended! We had such a lovely time at Sang Tawan resort. The local family that runs the resort is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are basic and clean and had everything we needed. The hospitality of the hosts is enormous. They do everything possible to make sure their guests have a pleasant stay on their beautiful property and in the beloved Khao Sok National park. The garden of the resort is amazing, they even have their own cave. We loved the Thai food that they prepared for us, every day of our stay. The family was also very helpful in arranging excursions in the national park. Thank you!!

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. We want to thank the staff for their great helpfulness in organizing trips. They were very organized when you booked with them and it was great you could trust everything works out well (also transport for going to next destination and a special hiking requests in another area of the park). The whole team gave had very warm welcoming spirit and it was a pleasure to be around. The breakfast in the morning was very tasty (recommend the fresh made banana pancakes!) and we tried different things in the evening as well which was always very very tasty (and very fair priced too). So far our nicest place in Thailand and we liked it a lot, would recommend any time!

A magnificent place from which to experience Thai's natural...

A magnificent place from which to experience Thai's natural environment. Highly recommended despite the rather rudimentary accommodation options on the lake. However, it is only worth going to Khao Sok if you stay on the lake as that is where the hikes through the rainforest are and where the animals are. Treat the accommodation as part of the experience!

A good hostel to stay in before the floating bungalow trip. Centrally located in Khao Sok with lots of restaurant options at the doorstep. The man working there was very nice and friendly to deal with. Our dorm was very clean and comfortable, including the bathroom, which had a powerful shower with lots of hot water and good shampoo and body wash. We booked the floating bungalow trip through Chillax and we were pretty happy overall with the trip. Chillax organised our transport to Koh Lanta after the trip which was so convenient.

The hostel is amazing! It’s on the main road of Khao Sok village, the beds are spacious and they have a clever design. You have space to leave your belongings next to the mattress and even a built in shelf you can lock if you want to keep your stuff safe. The staff is kind and helpful, the whole hostel is clean, and the breakfest is amazing! 10/10 would recommend!

Very good hotel in. Khao Sok. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. They were a bit basic but quality-price ratio was great. The hotel is at the end of the village which makes it super calm at night. Breakfast was basic but really good. Beautiful river views from our bungalow.

Honestly the best hostel I’ve stayed in my life. So clean and tidy, very comfortable, bathrooms also very clean. Staff are so friendly and helpful all the time. If you’re unsure of where to stay for Khao Sok Lake, I can promise you this hostel is easily the best.

Nice little hostel, quite modern and clean. The room and the bed were comfortable as well. The staff was nice and helpful. If you’re staying in Khao Sok village for a fee nights this is the perfect lodging for you!

Very nice room with big beds and beautiful terrace in the treetops. Very nice staff who took good care of us and arranged a perfect 2 day 1 night trip to Cheow Lan Lake with a private bathroom accommodation. Luggage was stored in the hotel and the trip was amazing. We would highly recommend the combination of Khao Sok jungle huts and the lake tour.

We booked everything through our hostel. The guy at reception was lovely and spoke great English. They gave a discount on the Khao Sok national park trip but not on our transfer to Koh Samui. Pretty sure there’s only one double room available at all times, surprised it’s not always sold out.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful in booking activities in Khao Sok and nearby the hotel. The location was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed bamboo rafting nearby with a quick stop for tea/coffee next to a cave. We also walked about 1km from the hotel and had the most delicious Thai meal. Great little spot in the jungle!

The hotel staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful. We found a cockroach in our room (not unusual in Thailand isn’t it) and they helped us evacuate it from the room, they also checked under the bed with sheets and all. All inquiries that we had they always helped and responded! Everything was very clean. You can buy some Khao Sok tours and activities directly at their reception.
