Hotels near Basarab Metro Station, Bucharest

Convenient location, unique design of the hotel, beautiful decoration of exterior and landscape design, nice interior, nice smell inside hotel, big and clean room with big windows, everything inside room works fine.

Most of all the location and availability of parking

The guy at the reception, who met us on the arrival date (29 Sept) and was there on our departure date (4 Oct) was so friendly and supportive: he prepared invoices and lunchboxes and did everything to make us feel home. So we are very grateful to him, unfortunately I didn't ask his name. But hugely thanks to him, my feedback is very positive.

The hotel is super nice, room size is good as well. The staff are super welcoming and helpful, specially Angela from the reception.

The Grand Hotel Continental is one of the nicest places we have stayed in for a long while, the large room was recently refurbished and the beds were very comfortable. Completely peaceful at night with great air conditioning, shower and bath, we had a very pleasant 4 night stay. Having become a bit jaded over the years we were delighted to discover that room service was particularly good and thoroughly enjoyed the dishes we tried. The staff are great, unfailingly cheerful and helpful, we would like to particularly thank Mirela the Front Office Manager who really went out of her way to help us get some things organised in a very efficient and charming manner. The hotel is perfectly located a few minutes from the heart of the old town and if you’re there at the weekend the street outside becomes a pedestrian boulevard on Saturday and Sunday where there are often musical happenings going on. We have now stayed in quite a few hotels in Bucharest but we have now found our home and wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in future.
