We booked a moderate, tidy room with all the essentials and a side view of the neighbouring bay. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel had two real highlights: the evening all-inclusive dinners, featuring an impressive variety of themed dishes from different countries, and the beach, which we discovered through a passage in the cliff from the hotel's beach. Even at the end of November, it was possible to sunbathe, enjoy the warmth, and even swim.

Vila Alba Resort offers direct access to the remote Albandeira Beach. The hotel has an infinity pool with Atlantic Ocean views, a garden and a restaurant.

Felt like a set out of Disneyland - beautiful setting - lots of different areas so you could have your own privacy. Access to great beach bar only a minute or two from resort. Friendly staff - we had a relaxed stay and would totally recommend it
