Our stay at Hotel W was wonderful! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The hotel is beautiful, and the service reflects their motto "Whatever, Whenever" perfectly. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with plenty of fresh and tasty options to start the day. One of the highlights of our trip was when our boys went big-game fishing (arranged separately) and caught some fish. To our delight, the hotel went above and beyond by preparing the fish for our dinner, even though we know this isn’t something they usually offer. This gesture made the experience feel extra special. We were blown away by the effort and creativity of the chefs, especially Ambed and Emanuel (Manu), who prepared the fish in several different dishes. Every bite was a masterpiece, and our taste buds were thrilled! Chef Ambed made our last two nights unforgettable, and it was such a pleasure to get to know him. His kindness, talent, and attention to detail left a lasting impression on us.

The Al Falaj Hotel is just fantastic! Excellent room service and front desk support. The breakfast is excellent. A pristine, well-kept setting! The wonderful pool is great for both kids and adults. Enjoyed, enjoying the steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi. Fantastic hotel in a great Muscat location. Pleasant staff and service. The organization of the rooms, dining areas, restaurants, meeting rooms, and party venues is impeccable. The lobby is gorgeous, and most guests are tourists. Being a family hotel, we had a lovely time there. Both residents and visitors to the area can enjoy a very excellent tea corner with a variety of tea and coffee. It is a reasonably priced piece of real estate. The Al Falaj Hotel provides ample parking, and all popular destinations like Mutrah, the corniche, Riwi, and the Royal Opera are within 10 to 15 minutes' driving distance. A big souq where you can get souvenirs from your visit.

A big souq where you can get souvenirs from your visit. Always bargain to get good deals and don't believe the shopkeepers who claim that their goods are handmade. Otherwise, they are nice. You can go to the corniche for a nice walk and admire the fort as well as the Sultan's majestic yachts. And right opposite the Matrah fish market, there is a fish restaurant where you can choose your fresh fish to be grilled or fied.

Parking is a big hassle as the place is always crowded.

Parking is a big hassle as the place is always crowded. They close at noon 1PM and re open at 4PM. Trinkets, souvenirs, gifts, fragrant oils, local garments, antiques, traditional foods and fruits. A feast for the eyes. Dont miss the famed Omani Halwa (black colour)

The location was good, you can get the taxi and reach the Corniche and Mutrah Souq within 5-10 mins. And all the other attractions within 30 mins by taxi. Room was okay and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was good.

We absolutely loved staying here during our time in Muscat. We felt incredibly safe and welcomed. The breakfasts were so lovely that we miss them now! It is also an excellent location if you want to be within easy walking distance to the al-alam palace, national museum and al-mirani fort or a 5-min drive to Mutrah souq, Mutrah fort and the port. Would thoroughly recommend!
