The room was big enough and central for what we needed to do...

The room was big enough and central for what we needed to do for our fleeting overnight trip to Auckland. However parking to check in was confusing and the lady at the desk was very confusing in her instructions on where the included parking was for the room - we had to then check with another person after we checked in who was very helpful.

The view was wonderful.

The view was wonderful. However the third party online seller -Trip advisor didn’t send the ticket as soon as we completed the payment. It took hours and an email before they sent it so we had to purchase them on the site. Don’t use the online seller as they don’t refund the money you paid even if it was their inefficiency that was the issue! Can’t believe they don’t refund when ticket wasn’t used! Leaves a bad taste to the tourists!!!

I've been past there many times, but never went up to the...

I've been past there many times, but never went up to the observation decks until I was in NZ with a friend from overseas. The views are really great, and it is the best place by far to get your bearings in sprawling Auckland (which, by land area at least, is one of the largest in the world). You can also do a bungee jump from the exterior walkway, which is quite exciting simply to watch.

Gorgeous view, check the weather during booking times and go...

Gorgeous view, check the weather during booking times and go before, during and after sunset if you can to maximise the experience. If dining up in Sky Tower, book about half an hour before sunset, enjoy the viewing platform for up to 45 mins before your booking (we only needed 20 to be satisfied) for free and then finish of with a meal during the sunset. In the lift, look down and watch the weight in the pulley system move away from you whilst ascending. Clear your nasal passages and look in to jaw movement (chewing gum for most) to release pressure with difference in metres above sea level and how that affects the sinuses.

Very spacious apartment. Excellent location a few minutes from Sky City and less than 10 minutes to the harbour. Great to have a washer and dryer in our individual unit. We had a view of the Sky Tower from our room.

The Sky View Room was very stylish and modern, and the view was absolutely amazing. The hotel amenities such as the shampoo and body wash were high quality and very satisfying. Beds were so comfy. All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I also loved that barista-made coffee is included in.breakfast service. Despite being located in the heart of the city, the hotel was quiet and comfortable, and the location was excellent with Sky Tower, the harbour, and Queen Street all within easy walking distance.

The facilities were fully equipped, the space was airy and comfortable, and the view overlooking the Sky Tower was amazing. Everything was absolutely wonderful. We loved our stay in this calm and comfortable and stylish apartment in a great location in central Auckland. The place felt light and spacious and has gorgeous views over the park (Myers park) and of the Sky Tower. It was within easy walking distance of the centre of Auckland and the high street and harbour as well as the popular Karangahape Road. Everything was very comfortable and nicely set up and the communication was great and easy. We wish we could stay longer! Thank you.

Superb location, right in the center of everything, 2 minutes walk to the harbor and the ferries, 10 minutes to the Sky tower. The tourist hop on/off bus stop is right by the hotel. Attractive price in comparison to the waterfront hotels which are 1 minute away. Staff were great, service was very quick and efficient. Vibrant bar/restaurant upstairs with nice views on the city and the water. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed staying and would definitely recommend.

Local to everything - the harbour for cruises, the shops for food of which there are loads of eateries and supermarkets. Tourist attractions are all within walking distance in the main city centre eg Sky Tower. We had a 2 bed apartment with rooms a decent size and views of the city via large windows. Great little kitchenette for cooking. Enough of the basics to make a meal for 4 people. Has an oven, microwave and one drawer dishwasher. Decent size fridge/freezer too.
