we arrived in Tromso in the evening by Arctic Routes bus after a tour in Lofoten and were leaving next day by plane to further destination; we wanted to see as much as possible of Tromso in this short time. so we chose the hotel to be within short walk from both buss stop from Lofoten and to airport. in addition hotel was just near the harbor front with great view from the breakfast/dinner room to the bridge crossing the gulf and to the Arctic Cathedral on the other side. several places worth visiting were within walking distance as well as the commercial streets. place was clean and comfortable and personnel very nice and helpful. last but not least, having dinner included (as well as breakfast) was very convenient when arriving after a long journey and made our stay very cost effective. all in all we loved our stay in Tromso and were sorry it was so short.

Nice hotel in a beautiful place, comfortable room, excellent breakfast. Friendly and helpful personnel. Highly recommended. By the way restaurant is very good there. Definitely try local dish of the day. There are more facilities there, like gym, etc., but we didn't try them.

I didn't go inside as a service was about to start, but the outside is stunning and the stained glass window spectacular. I was lucky to be there when the bells were being rung. A beautiful sound.

Had the queen room and it was fantastic. Very comfortable. Great view over the water across to Tromsø and had a clear view of the Northern Lights. Very close to the sherpa stairs, cable car and round the corner from the arctic cathedral. About a 20 minute walk to get over the bridge - and you get some nice views of the mountains from here - into the town centre so great location. Nice pizza place around the corner. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The location is quite central, around a 10 to 15 minute walk from the city centre and its main attractions. Walking to the Arctic Cathedral, located on the other side of the bridge, takes approximately 40 minutes. The staff are very polite and friendly. I would particularly like to mention Clelia, who checked us in in a highly efficient and courteous manner and also kindly facilitated our aurora tour.

Lovely apartment right beside the Arctic Cathedral just over the bridge green the main island. Great communication and very clear instructions from our host. Having a good coffee machine with coffee bags ready to use. was a really nice bonus. The airport bus bus was 2 minutes away at the local bus stop.

Easy reached from tromso over the bridge or catch a bus 28, near the arctic cathedral, cosy and warm , microwave and kettle in apartment nice bathroom also there was a euro spar up the hill around 10 min walk less without the snow lol

The staff was very responsive and friendly. We got a nice apartment in the 6th floor. Everything was pretty new and well maintained (besides the electronic lock which did not work; a physical key was made available then). The inner city and the bridge to the arctic cathedrale are closed by in walking distance.

The hotel offers free 4 o'clock tea and free "light dinner" between 6-8 pm, in addition to breakfast. The dinner buffet is actually quite nice and good quality. The Jacuzzi on the roof top is exceptional ! Overlooks the harbour with a view of the Arctic Cathedral and the Fielheisen. Wooooow !

Very nice and clean apartment. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, coffee machine, dish washer and microwave. Free parking ! The apartment is located within walking distance from the Arctic cathedral and the cable car lift to the panoramic view of the city. The host is very friendly.

Tromsø isn't large or crowded by any stretch of the...

Tromsø isn't large or crowded by any stretch of the imagination and walking allows one to take in the sights and enjoy the layout of the town. Places of interest aren't too far apart and it is even possible to walk across the Bruvegen to the Arctic Cathedral (Ishavskatedralen) or to the cable car for Mount Storsteinen.
