Breakfast was good and the location beautiful by the lake. Although near a train line I did not hear any trains.

Loved the location with views over the surrounding countryside. The staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They are all obviously very proud of their guesthouse and cafe, and rightly so. The evening meal was superb as was thr local beer. The breakfast was the best breakfast buffet we had had on our trip.

This former inn is located near River Begna in the heart of Hønefoss, only 500 metres from Hønefoss Station. It offers guest rooms with traditional décor and free WiFi.

Beautiful place. Fantastic layout and an amazing kitchen with all the required crockery and utencils. Well thought out details and white goods. The view of the fjord from the balcony is lovely and a perfect setting for a morning coffee. The jacuzzi was a perfect place to end a very long day, for us. The house was spacious and didn't feel crowded for the 8 of us. Enough parking space for cars just in front of the house. Nice quiet area. Comfortable beds. A very nice sitting area in the basement floor.
