Along the Mekong river, this hotel has all different little buildings circling a beautiful garden, but the origin of the buildings is the most interesting. The owner relocated original, wooden buildings from around Laos to the property, so nothing you see is the same, and every room is different. What you get is a totally unique experience and that experience is very comfortable, quiet, amazing - while also feeling out in the country-side. Good for people who are not too particular about smooth luxury, and who are in need of beautiful surroundings. The bed was great, and the room had a homely feel with the convenience of a good bathroom and mine had a kitchenette. The staff was beyond good, and everyone there was ready for a chat if you wanted so. The breakfast was the best I had in Luang Prabang, and the little bar being open while the sun sets gives everything a feel of a relaxed holiday. The resort (no pool) is next to a small temple, and there is a shuttle bus taking you back to town (5 mins) to go to the nightmarket. Walking to the market was about 25 mins. The hotel also organised a Waterfall and a Mekong river cruise for me, which were very good.

Amazing place with an extraordinary touch in the interior design of the whole house. Feels like you are in a palace. Very new, clean, and modern. Perfect location as it's very central so everything will be walking distance away. Wonderful hospitality! The owner arranged all the transportation for us from the beginning till the end. Very responsive all the time with a big smile. You can see the temple right across the street from your windor and it's so peaceful and nice. At night, it is very quiet so, we slept through the night even during this new year holiday season. I can't say a single thing that I didn't like about the place. This was my 5th time visiting Luang Phrabang and this has been one of the best hotels I stayed in. Certainly gonna come back

Simple efficient hostel.. laundry mart just besides the place is excellent for an orange juice… the reception lady is very efficient and arranges a round trip to kungsi fall for 100,000kip which is right price. The room is jits right size and AC works location is perfect near to night market and the main road.

This is a new hostel and well planned too. Beds are comfortable with light, power outlet, USB & curtains. Showers are hot & clean. Great breakfast, coffee, tea, hot & cold water dispenser. Great social areas around the pool too. Staff are great & will help you with any questions. Information available as with laundry. Location is inly a 5 minute walk to night markets, the river & attractions.

A nice guesthouse at walking distance (some 20 minutes) from Luang Prabang's night market. Our room was spotless clean, with comfortable beds and a modern bathroom that was much better than in other Lao hotels of the same price range. Icing on the cake: the host was a very friendly and smiling person. Highly recommended!

Beautiful hotel with very scenic swimming pool, changing lights and surrounded by vegetation. The bedrooms overlook the pond with lotus flowers and the swimming pool. Unfortunately it was too cold to have dinner outside, but it would have been nice to have dinner in these beautiful surroundings. Royal Palace, temples, morning alms, Mekong river and night market are all in walking distance.

Jack the main hotel contact was excellent. Always happy to help and went out of his way when I had lost my glasses to help find them. Plus arranged transport and scooter hire. Location for us was good, only a short walk into the main area for the night market, pubs and restaurants, with some excellent ones just a few minutes up the road. Good size rooms and balcony option overlooking the pool. Breakfast was good, for me bacon, eggs, toast etc… Pool was nice, a bit cold but ok once in.

Nice place. Location very good. Like less than 5 min walk from night market. Shops lit within 1 minute. Free breakfast. I paid $36 for 2 nights for 2 bed in a 4 bedroom dorm. It has ac and private toilet. Also this hostel can sort you out with transportation. Pool table seems good but the hostel needs to buy new pool cues big time…

We had a lovely stay. The air con was excellent, bedroom bright and spacious, and there was good water pressure in the shower. Lovely host who was happy to help us with everything we needed. We rented a moped through the hotel, which was really easy to organise. Breakfast was generous and good quality, bonus that this was included in our stay. We would recommend La nuit de Laos to anyone looking for somewhere quiet but is central to the night market and river.
