All the staff, from the bellboys to the managers, is absolutely amazing. They are all extremely capable at meeting any needs of international guests, more so than other Seoul hotels of the same level. Access to the executive club is well worthy. Breakfast, afternoon snacks and "pre-dinner" were always excellent and there is coffee and tea available throughout the entire day. The coffee machine by the way always stopped working but it was really a minor issue well handled by the staff and made more of a nuisance due to the behavior of other guests being overly annoyed by it. Rooms are quite spacious, well equipped and cleaned to perfection daily. Like most korean hotels, they are not miserly as in the west and will give free water bottles. The maid that was responsible for my room also had the finesse of realizing I drank as much water as a camel and replenished my room with plenty of bottles. Laundry service was so cautious and attentive that they realized one of my pants had a missing button, immediately sent it back to me before washing so I could verify and fixed it free of charge. Location couldn't be better as you're at the heart of Seoul for business and leisure. If you'd like to ride the underground instead of going by taxi, there are a couple of stations at very near walking distance - be aware that Korea seems to love stairways and you will find many of them in your path.

Everything was great. The hotel is located within easy reach of the metro station and important tourist attractions. Despite being in a busy area, the hotel is in a quiet street. The room was more than expected spacious, including a bathroom with a bathtub. The beds were comfortable and large. We appreciated the cleanliness and the presence of a free laundry room in the basement.

Probably the best palace in Seoul, undergoing a long process of restoration and reconstruction. Entrance is cheap, and free if you wear a hanbok (traditional Korean clothing, that can be rented all around the area). Once a month there is a special night opening, with all the palaces lit up

Billions of visitors wearing tacky costumes (It is free some day or some time for people wearing hanbok, which is normally so beautiful). Should come back when it is -20 degrees C so it might be less crowded. Did it with a guide, Joy, who was nice and informative.

Fabulous - recommend you get there by 9am. Free to get in for over 65's but cheap anyway. Changing of the guard at 10am but you can easily walk around the grounds of the Palace on your own before then.

Large place but take up the opportunity to hire the Korean clothing - Hanbok. I did it at another location and just loved walking around in it. Free entry to the palaces if you do wear it. Much cheaper to hire outside of the palaces, especially at the Bukchon Hanok Village. Locals were coming up to us, to help me rety the ribbons etc, so it was very nice.

Excellent location in Insadong. Walking distance from Myeongdong and Gyeongbokgung Palace as well as Bukchon Hanok village. Our room was clean although the bed was quite firm. The hotel facilities are fantastic with the onsen and library area, free washing machine (paid dryer) and free ramen from 9-10:30pm daily. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Location: there so many restaurants around, just get to the small alleys. The subway/metro station, Jongno-gu 3 is very close. This station has lines 1, 2 and 3. Main attractions of Seoul are at a walking distance : Gyeongbokgung Palace, Nacsam wall, Cheonggyecheon, , Gwangjang Market.

The accommodation has a lovely interior and is a restored 150 years old traditional Korean house. It’s quite near to sights such as Gyeongbokgung Palace. And the owner is really nice and gives local recommendations to restaurants and „hidden spots“ that you would otherwise never find.
