The staff were very welcoming. The Japanese breakfast was exceptional. The bike hire was very convenient and enhanced our trip. Proximity to Imperial Palace was wonderful.

From the moment i arrived i was welcomed with smiles, the hospitality was fantastic. The hotel itself was amazing, clean and posh. Best hotel i visited in Japan so far. The breakfast buffet was very good. Large choice of food options and quality is very good. Subway is connected to the hotel!

Everything was great! The hotel is beautiful, with amazing staff and a great location right next to the subway station. Our room was spacious and beautiful. The hotel also offered a free daily afternoon tea/pre-dinner cocktail which was a really nice touch. We will definitely stay here again next time in Kyoto.

The room was quite small, but that’s expected in Japan and it had everything you might need. Just when you think something’s missing, you open a drawer and there it is! The location was great and the hotel had a very hip, modern vibe. The breakfast could be improved though. A larger buffet would help, as the pastries disappeared fast!

Great location close to Sanjo stayion, Gion area, Kamo river, all just a short walk around the corner. The room was spaceous, comfortable and clean and the hotel staff very nice and helpful, who also supported with receiving and sending our luggage from / to our next location.
