Akiko is a wonderful host she surprised us with ice cream. The kids loved the roomy apartment and having their own room. This was a wonderful place to stay run by wonderful people. We had a kitchen to make a meal at home something we were missing.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable room with lovely view of the river. Easy to get a taxi from the station in heavy rain on our arrival and enjoyed the walk to the station through the town to catch trains to our walks. Breakfast and dinner were very good and they cooked a special vegetarian dinner.

A very dedicated host and an excellent cook. Japanese hospitality at its best. High up with a direct view up to tje snow covered mountains. It is off the beaten track but if you are interested in genuine Japanese hospitality you find it here and even a whole selection of Japanese wines.
