The hotel is absolutely amazing, love the rooms, the furniture, the lightning, everything! The staff is very friendly and helpful, you get everything you need there, they even have free face masks. In the rooms you have bathtub with water from the hot springs. It's insane! Would definitely go there again, no hesitation.

What a fabulous relaxing time in a wonderful location. Staff were absolutely amazing! The food and drinks were 美味しい . The hot bath facilities and the private facilities were outstanding. The room was luxurious. I had a wonderful stay.

Very convenient to the train station and to the main shopping and restaurant areas. Loved having a bit more space, and amenities, especially the washing machine. Everything was immaculate and very new. Great value for money. Would have liked to stay longer in this lovely town.

The onsen was amazing. You can see the Mt Fuji from the open air bath and the atmosphere is just wonderful. To get to the hotel from the Hakone-Yumoto station by train and the cable car plus rope way was also a good experience if you’re not in hurry and not having too many luggage. It just what I wanted for relaxation and winding down my mind!

Spacious, clean and great view. Close to Hakone-Yumoto station. Can walk also faster on taxi only cost ¥700-¥800 Friendly stuff. Amazing onsen, restaurants and massage chairs. The room’s window can be open for fresh cool Hakone air. Has futons available for extra ppl. It was only me and my daughter so it was enough. Little manga library corner. I will definitely stay again next time around.

We stayed for 3 nights in end-October. The building has three storeys and we were on the ground floor. It was well presented and clean. The room was of reasonable size. The fridge was of a small size. It also had a microwave but it did not have a washing machine. Everything else was provided for a comfortable stay. The apartment was about 15 min walk from Hakone-Yumoto Station, of which the last few minutes were quite steep. I would recommend this place.

The space - the hotel is stunning, a perfect blend of traditional and modern, an experience in itself. The breakfast was very good, even though it felt a bit more western. We also enjoyed the welcome drink. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Managed to book the private onsen (for a very reasonable price!) which was nice after doing the whole Hakone loop. The location was also great, a 10minute walk from the Hakone-Yumoto station. Appreciated the possibility to use the lockers even after checkout.

The hotel is walking distance feom the Hakone-Yumoto station and the bus stop to head on the circuit is virtually at the door. The hotel provides traditional clothes to walk around and use the onsen. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I forgot to pack bandages to cover my small tattoos. The staff found some so I could use the onsen.... we went very early in the morning (jet lag!) and it was very quiet. I'm happy I tried it. It was very clean and comfortable. Felt like a very authentic Japanese experience all in all.

The staff were so lovely and helpful. The location was super easy to access from Hakone-Yumoto Station, which made it easy to get to and drop our luggage off, well as being a perfect place to go sightseeing from. We had a room with an outdoor bath which was absolutely amazing, especially with the sound of the water running in the river behind the hotel.

We loved everything about our stay at Senkei. The Japanese style room was spacious, comfortable and attractive with a great mountain view through the large picture window. The staff were all extremely helpful and welcoming. The outdoor spa was incredibly tranquil and relaxing. The indoor spa was also fabulous and a great way to start the day. It was well located just a 10-15 minute walk from Hakone-Yumoto station. We would love to come back for a longer stay.

The location is amazing, in a beautiful place and with a shuttle every 20 min to and from the hakone-yumoto station. The Hotel is very good and the dinner and breakfast buffets are incredible.
