Hotels near Echigo-Yuzawa Station, Yuzawa

Wow! What an amazing experience, this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! Convenient location right next to the train station and a short walk to the chair lift, makes this hotel an ideal location for a short ski trip from Tokyo. The rooms were large, modern and spacious with lovely traditional details throughout, and great views across the mountains. The Onsen was beautiful and the whole hotel was very clean and exceptionally maintained. After finishing in the Onsen, the complimentary ice cream was a lovely added bonus. Would recommend to anyone visiting Japan for a luxury stay for a short weekend skiing!

For one, Yuzawa Kogen skii resort and cable lift is just at their backyard. Im no skii but expert, but i think if you are a beginner to intermediate - this would be perfect. Specially for kids to play in the snow. Also they have indoor and outdoor onsen which i enjoyed a lot. Bathing under the snow...❤️. They have their own shuttle bus that runs from Echigo-Yuzawa station to Hotel and vice versa. Although its like 5-8mins walk from the train station. There is also a shuttle that will bring you to all Skii Resort in front of the hotel by the road They have their own skii and snowboarding rental at basement - with free locker for every guest. And it's way cheaper compared to Gala Yuzawa. They have breakfast and dinner. But we omly opt for breakfast. But it is a variety of Western and Japanese. It's not a lot of option compare to other Hotels I've been with, but it is good, delicious and very filling. There is laundry... The staff are very helpful and speak fluent English. The hotel is quite old. It's not as hip as compared to newer hotels these days, but the its well kept, very clean, and the rooms are huge. You can perform your cartwheels. 😂 Will definitely stay here again.... All in all, it is family friendly.

View was very good. Hotel is close to the Main train station and there is shutter bus from hotel to the main station for service.

Dry room, laundry room, hot bath, shuttle service(reserve in advance), restaurant. The host speaks good English and is very friendly. This place is suitable for those going to the Ishida Maruyama-Hatsuka Ishi. You need to reserve a private bath time for 30 minutes per room, but if there are fewer people, you can arrange to use it during unreserved times. A bath after skiing feels very comfortable. There is no lift here, which makes carrying luggage a bit inconvenient.

Sympathic and kind welcome after our departure, absolutely top level of cleanliness everywhere, understanding to our needs, perfect breakfast, we felt like at home.

My stay at this hotel exceeded all expectations. The ski-in & out feature provided unbeatable convenience, directly connecting us to the slopes. Our room was not only comfortable but offered stunning mountain views, making it the perfect retreat. Dining was a treat, with a fantastic breakfast buffet and meals that showcased local flavors. Above all, even the staff communicated through the translator, their exceptional service made us feel genuinely cared for.
