Everything was superb. If I have to point out my favourite thing about Fufu Nikko is their food. It was simply AMAZING! The dinner and breakfast was wow! It felt like I was dining in a Michelin-star restaurant. Also I was surprised how Kid-friendly this place is. I first assumed it was mainly for honeymooning couple, but my kid was provided a children toilletries, clothes, slippers, beautiful fancy glass-looking plastic cups (which I wished I could purchase) and their kids meal was omg, better than restaurant food. I loved every single minute I spent here. The room was spacious with private bath, the lounge had delicious free flow drinks in the late afternoon, they have Onsen with ice creams and beer provided to be consumed after bath. It was simply unforgettable. A small but luxurious resort indeed. Thank you for having us.

There's a convenience store right across the road. The laundry machine was not very busy. The staff were accommodating. Close to Tobu Nikko Station. It's difficult to find a property in Nikko that has a hot spring bath for that affordable price. Very good deal.

Everything! A gem in Nikko! The room was clean, big for Japan standards, the bed was comfy and the comforter was warm and fluffy, there was hot shower, very good wifi, refrigerator, water heater (To make coffee/tea in your room), and they also had plenty free teas, and coffee stuff and bathroom/facial freebies by the lobby. The breakfast, 7 AM to 9AM, was very delicious and generous! They had sausages, bacon, veggies, hashbrowns, pancakes, fried fish balls, german potatoes, 8 variations of juices, coffee, all the green tea you want, curry and beef for bowl, 2 types of rice: White Japanese rice or 5 grain rice, also very good, they had scrambled eggs, 3 variations of cereals, kimchi, and a salad bar, and oranges, bananas, and pears/pineapples. The hot bath, onsen, is the best: They have an outdoor one and it's perfect for Winter. You will really enjoy and relax in it. It opens from 4pm to 12 Midnight. Staff were also very courteous and pleasant.

Great quiet hotel near Chuzenji lake. The staffs are helpful and polite. The food is great. The entrance from the main road may be a bit difficult to spot but google map can help. You have to book the room with breakfast or dinner in advance if you need it (Cannot walk in and order) because they have to make a preparation.

Elizabeth was a wonderful host and made our stay very enjoyable. The dinner that Satoshi made for us was delicious and a great start to our travels in Japan. Nikko and the surrounding area is beautiful and a trip to Chuzenji Lake is worth doing and the walk around the lake to the summer Residencies of the European embassies. At one night at a delicious small sushi restaurant near to the JR Station. Finally Onsens at the Guest house were the favourite ones I experienced. Nikko was a highlight of our trip.

Beautiful location, lovely views from the room, relaxing traditional onsen, friendly staff and a lovely dinner. Great hotel for exploring Chuzenji lake in Nikko region. Staff warmly welcomed us and we had a great stay.

The hotel is small, new, clean and quiet. It’s a 10 minutes walk from the bus stop to get there.,along Chuzenji Lake, with lovely view, especially when the weather is good. Owner/man in charge is very kind. The size of a triple room is perfect for 2 people. Both breakfast and dinner are delicious.

The hotel location is just at the Chuzenji lake. My balcony has beautiful lake view. Nagomi is such a nice boutique hotel with onsen. The staff and managers are very friendly, especially Tanaka san who is always serves dinner with a smile. The sumptuous dinner menu changes every evening. I would recommend Nagomi.

Tokiwa Ryokan is a very fair priced gem I can very much recommend. The location is good: it can easily be reached by Tobu Bus (Bus Stop 18). From there, you can easily get to both Chuzenji Lake/Yumoto Onsen and the world heritage area. The owners are very friendly, breakfast and dinner (book in advance) are amazing. It is a great place to stay even for foreigners and I can only encourage you to consider it.

We had a delightful two-night stay at the hotel where the staff warmly welcomed us, making us feel right at home. The food was exceptional, and we would enthusiastically suggest this hotel for a refreshing getaway from city life. Accessing the hotel from Nikko station was straightforward, and it boasts a splendid view of Chuzenji Lake.

Very calm environment, quiet and dark at night. The room and living space is comfortable and clean. Near to bus station (3 mins walk) and Chuzenji Lake Bus Terminal (10 min walk, more bus back to Nikko station). There's also a small local supermarket near the hostel, offering cheap bentos and food ingredients. Owner is a guide, so you can learn more about the environment of Nikko.
