I recently had the pleasure of staying at hotel Petra Moon that exceeded all my expectations: from the breathtaking location to the top-notch facilities, everything was simply perfect! However, what truly made my stay unforgettable was the extraordinary service provided by the hotel staff, particularly Raja and Osama at the front desk, Hosaifa, and the entire team. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, I was greeted with great kindness and professionalism. Raja at the front desk not only efficiently handled the check-in process but also took the time to explain all the amenities and services available at the hotel. The attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable were truly commendable. They were always willing to answer my questions and provide helpful recommendations on places to visit in the city. Their passion for their work and genuine interest in guest satisfaction made a significant difference in my experience. Hosaifa, on the other hand, was always attentive. His friendly attitude and professionalism were exceptional. He was constantly attentive to my needs and asking if I needed anything. However, I cannot fail to mention the rest of the hotel staff, who also played a crucial role in making my stay an unforgettable experience. From the friendly bellboys who were always ready to assist with luggage to the housekeeping staff who kept my room impeccably clean, every team member displayed an exceptional level of professionalism and courtesy. In addition to the outstanding service, the hotel facilities were simply stunning. The rooms were elegant, spacious, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could desire. The jacuzzi and pool were also top-notch, and I was able to relax and enjoy quality time during my stay. In summary, my experience at this hotel was absolutely exceptional. The impeccable service from Raja at the front desk, the kind attention from Hosaifa, and the dedication of

Great value for money. Polite staff and helpful in organising breakfast at 5 am as we went on a guided trip before breakfast was open. Location is perfect, and parking right outside the hotel. Food was great, breakfast was simple and good, and we paid only 10 JOD for dinner and we pretty much got 4 portions for the 2 of us each time.

Fantastic! Two days is an absolute minimum to visit Petra.

Fantastic! Two days is an absolute minimum to visit Petra. One half day or day walking tour should be negociated and agreed with one of the multiple private guide right after the entrance of Petra. You should ask to go to the upper cliffs, for a breathtaking tour off the beaten tracks, that joins with the main touristic areas at the end. To do this, you should be in proper physical condition. This is not "hard" but there are ups and downs and it can be very hot and sunny. Wear good shoes and bring water.

The town of Petra should be enjoyed over 2 to 3 days.I don't understand how most tourists make it as a day visit from Amman. The restaurant of Abu Elyas serves excellent and Authentic Jordanian food.It also boasts of Queen Rania being it's patron and has Queen's table at a Faux table of shutter 6.The rates of dishes is also reasonable... My husband and I went around Petra,Little Petra ,Petra by night ,As-shoubak castle close to Petra in a Taxi driven by One Mr Mohammed Fdoul (00962777530213),who quoted reasonable rates and seemed to be reliable...

If you are an adventures person then do follow the trail from the backside as suggested by local guide, but if you are not an adventures person then only do treasury and return back to visitor center. The whole trail is quite long and difficult for different age groups, but if you are at it then do bargain for donkey and mule rides

Great trip worth every step going in April means less crowds and pleasant weather Little Petra was amazing when entering from the back Please don't ride the Donkeys it was very upsetting seeing some owners especially the teenagers hitting them with chains! Horses were treated much better, if you are going to Petra then have the wonderful experience of walking!!! (Also for cat and dog lovers take some extra food to feed them at the ticket box in little Petra)

Place is very well maintained, you can see there are some works done to keep it this way. Sadly there are turists there who support child labour and animal cruelty, even though it's highlighted in the visitors centre not to do so. Horse rides are official part of the visitor centre, that area is controlled, horses can take turists just to the entrance of Siq Trail which is a short distance with no hills, stairs etc. Sadly at the last part of the trail you can see local children working with donkeys, you can't blame locals, but you can blame turists still using these "facilities".

People all over the World knows about Petra and will want to see this how the Nabatean people lived. A beautiful walk to see all rocks formation that created over thousands of years. As you walked and walked you get nearer to the Treasury, you get more excited and once you get there you felt an achievement and emotion welling in to see this famous city. Highly recommended. But please do stay overnight in nearby hotel. To allow you rest from the long walk and visit the Petra museum to explain in depth about the history.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had to report to the police station because I'm staying 16 days in Jordan with Jordan Pass. Achmed called several times to figure out where I have to go, what documents I need etc. They also help with organizing trips for instance to Wadi Rum. The location is very good as well, 15 minutes by walking to the visitor Center. I can just recommend the Petra Premium Hotel.

The property was extremely clean and the rooms were excellent. They had a complimentary mini bar and dessert too. The staff were extremely kind and humerous. They valeted the car to the car park also. The hotel was very close to the visitor centre to gain access to the Petra grounds. Abdullah at reception gave us a lot of information about the place. Any of my friends visiting Jordan will be convinced by my to go to this hotel.

I can't recommend this place enough. It's three minutes away from Petra by car, and it has a lovely view on the city from the hill. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff is amazing. Good breakfast in the morning, with both Jordanian and continental options. (special shoutout to Lia, who did everything to make me feel at home- made coffee for me, offered me extra food in the morning, I don't think I've ever experienced this level of hospitality in a hotel before).

It can be hard to choose accommodation in wadi masa but we were very happy we chose this apartment. Exactly as the photos, spacious and clean with lovely views. We had the evening meal after our day in Petra so didn't have to worry about finding something and it was delicious. Breakfast was plenty and traditional Jordanain. Parking is available right next to the entrance. The centre of town is just few couple minutes drive and Petra visitor centre is max a 5min drive.

We had a fantastic time at this hostel. The staff was incredibly nice. They helped us with everything we needed help with, which made our trip through Jordan way easier and better. We booked the homecooked dinner twice because it was so much delicious food for such a little amount of money. The rooms are big and cozy and the view was beautiful. Petra is only 5 minutes away with the car. I honestly have nothing to complain about and I would recommend this hostel to anyone who wants a good place to sleep for very little money.

What an absolutely beautiful accommodation. It has a rooftop bar that offers sweeping view of Petra and the mountains of WadiMusa. My room has the same view also. It has both a hostel and a hotel. A restaurant and a rooftop bar that opens till late. It's very well refurbished so it's extremely clean, beautiful and has such a good vibe. It's just 10min steep hill walk from Petra entrance, and 10min walk to the bus station. It was the best accommodation I stayed at on this trip.

The hotel is spotless and everything is brand new. The location is good being next to the Petra entrance. Breakfast was good with plenty of options, which is impressive because the hotel was extremely quiet. We didn’t see another guest either day / night that we were there. Tourism is way down in Jordan due to instability in other countries but Jordan is perfectly safe, and in fact, now is a great time to visit Petra as there are very few tourists.

The owner of the hostel was unimaginably hospitable. He has the best recommendations anywhere in Jordan! And he is the best Dabke and vibes teacher! The entrance and the facilities here were great. I really appreciated the takeaway breakfast/ lunch that helped me stay nourished in my excursion in Petra. It was really thoughtful what was including in it. Finally the rooftop at nice was such a social vibe. Would recommend this hostel for the social element and chilling with the owner.
