I stayed only 1 night but it was a super nice stay, my flight was delayed and they waited for me after midnight, the communication was easy. Location is perfect - close to the sea and city. It’s possible to park on street within blue lines (in May) so no need for a parking. I think l paid 3€ from 10 pm - 10 am (?)

I sleep in the suite on the last floor of the building. The room was plenty of space, with 2 beds, a big sofa, coffee machine, big and modern bathroom and a marvellous big balcony with terrific view in the nearby Sicily. With glasses covering 3 sides of the room, it’s plenty of light.The comfort is top. The hotel is conveniently located just in front of the hydrofoil station to Sicily, the fastest way to go there, and the train station “Reggio Calabria Lido” is only 5 minutes walking. Prices are very affordable for the quality of the room.

If you are interested in the history of Magna Grecia, then...

If you are interested in the history of Magna Grecia, then this is the place to go! The collection is superbe, and clearly presented in the context of the original sites. There is ample background information, also in English. If you are planning to visit some of the excavations (Sibari, Crotone, Locris) then this exhibition makes for an excellent introduction. Needless to say, the Riace bronzes are the icing on the cake.
