The unique design & the central location next to the Fort and the Stepwell. The staff were wonderful & the food was outstanding, we enjoyed delicious breakfasts & had a fantastic meal in the RAAS restaurant overlooking the Fort. We also went to the Stepwell Cafe (accessed by a private passageway from the RAAS) and ate on the Stepwell Cafe rooftop overlooking the steps and fort. The RAAS rooftop bar was also excellent. The jewellery shop within the hotel has a stunning selection of jewellery. The hotel was calming and peaceful considering it's location!

Staying in Daspan House was like royals being pampered. The moment we stepped into this historical house built in 1921, we were greeted and treated with generous kindness and love. Nothing to fault in this house but only praise. From the warm service to the tasteful decor. We truly enjoyed our 2 nights stay here in a quiet gem, away from the businesses and noise, relaxed in a pool or garden. The location is accessible by tuk tuk or cab to the attractions. Thank you Anuj and his team for the generous hospitality. They surprised us with a treat when we celebrated our wedding anniversary at the restaurant. The food was the best by far in our month long travel in India. I highly recommend this house if you are in Jodhpur to have a memorable experience.

Just love this fort.

Just love this fort. As with any popular site in India ... go early and be first in the gate to beat the crowds and the heat. There is an elevator .Take a tuk tuk to the fort ... it is far more practical. I chose to walk most of the way back down the hill on this and previous occasions ... and interesting experience

The owner is extremely helpful and informative and helps out with booking any tours nearby at a great price! The hotel is in general very clean, the terrace view and vibe is amazing. The location is superb, walking distance from Mehrangarh fort and clock tower.

It is very well situated in the old part of Jodhpur and overlooked by the Mehrangarh Fort. Our room, 122, was very comfortable and well decorated, very close to the restaurant. The restaurant served Indian and western breakfast from 07.30 and the menu was very good for both lunch and dinner. The evening setting under the Fort for dinner was amazing.

Excellent heritage hotel in the old town, right below the Mehrangarh Fort. Rooms are clean and beautifully decorated, 3 levels of rooftop with the best views of Jodhpur and the fort. The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful during my stay. The location is perfect for city tours and the room was also comfortable. I loved the view of the main attraction Mehrangarh Fort from the hotel's rooftop. Dinner at the hostel was clean and delicious.
