Awesome Stay .. The behaviour of the staff and even the owner is very welcoming, They will make you feel like home. The place was excellent, well maintained and clean. Also the caretaker guy was also really helpful. The place is situated in a busy lane and is in walking distance to the temple. Would definitely recommend them for booking your stay. Good was always affordable and tasty home cooked.

Subah-e-Banaras really lives up to its name — peaceful and full of positive energy. The rooms are modern yet warm, with beautiful interiors and thoughtful touches. The terrace was our favorite spot for evening tea and sunrise meditation. It’s in a calm VIP colony but still just a few minutes’ drive from the main temples. We felt completely safe and well taken care of by the caretaker. Perfect for those looking for comfort and calm in Varanasi.

The temple is good and all, but the management and security...

The temple is good and all, but the management and security at the temple is terrible. There are very long queues and terribly managed at that. There is a special gate with paid entries (INR 250 per head) which supposedly reduce your time to entry in the temple, but it's so badly managed that the place to get the tickets is far off the queue to join for it, without any clear instructions or sign boards about it. There is hardly any provision for leaving behind your belongings outside your temple, and you're left to manage something yourselves. Even this "fast" paid line got us inside the temple in a total of 2 hours. This temple management seems more concerned about collecting money in the name of faster darshan, special pooja options etc, than better facilitating the convenience and safety of pilgrims.

Non Hindus are no longer allowed in the temple so find out whether this is still the case before trying to get in. Also, the place is now supposed to be extremely ugly with modern pink marble everywhere at the insistence of the Prime Minister, Modi. We stood in line for twenty minutes before being told we would not be allow in.

Again temple is beautiful but the crowd, pushing around, fighting to do the pooja is not worth it. People step on you to get ahead. Plus selling all that flowers and Prasad which just gets thrown away, so depressing to see.

Beautiful place, get a official govt guide to take you there...

Beautiful place, get a official govt guide to take you there, dont book on the website for any pooja;s, Tell you guide what you need doing and they will organise everything for you. The priests doing the pooja's will still demand money after the pooja but be fine and refuse, keep your guide with you at all times. Get the fast track with your guide otherwise there are massive que's.

Location is phenomenal, for those who want to stay close to Ghats and Temple. It is right in the center of busiest parts of Varanasi, close to Dashaswamegh Ghat and Kashi Vishwanath Temple, close to restaurants and food outlets. The energy and vibes of the location around the hotel is pulsating. Go for this if you want to feel the energy, looking for reasonably decent accommodation at reasonable price.

The absolute best part of this property is the location—it is incredibly close to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. We were able to walk there easily. "My stay at Pushpa Homestay was excellent. The hotel is located within walking distance of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Dashashwamedh Ghat, and Godowlia Chauraha, which is really convenient. The hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the manager who gave us a lot of good information about Varanasi.
