While the hotel’s corridor and hallway felt dated, we were caught by surprise when we entered the room. Smelled newly refurbished and so modern, super spacious as well. Everything felt so clean, toilet and all. It was honestly one of our best stays for the two weeks road trip. Room was so new that the fridge wasn’t plugged in, but not an issue to us. Breakfast was great too.

Overall, a dream stay. Beautiful grounds, beautiful building and luxurious decor. Friendly, helpful staff. Lots of lovely little touches like classic movies each evening, gourmet dinner in the Pullman restaurant which is actually two train carriages from the original Orient Express, stylish cocktail bar and relaxing reading room in the Abbey.

Excellent location in the city as everything was literally everything on your doorstop. The hotel is very cosy. The room was small but it was perfect for our one night stay. The continental breakfast was also excellent and plentiful. Parking is available at a reduced rate in the Spanish Arch car park which is just around the corner. The standout for me was the staff. Always courteous and nothing was a problem. The owner should do everything they can to retain them particularly Francesca! Will definitely be back.

It's located in the heart of the Latin Quarter, a few minutes walk to the Spanish Arch and the Galway Museum. The staff were very friendly and fun from the moment I arrived. The room was snug, when I say snug, the bed took up the room, but I needed a bed and a bathroom, and that was there, great shower, clean and comfortable, with coffee/tea making facilities. You don't come to Galway too live in your hotel room.

Easy to understand directions. Perfect location, 5 minutes walk to Spanish Arch one way and 5 minutes the other way to Eyre Square. Comfortable beds. Everything you need in the kitchen. Highly recommend.

In the heart of Galway city, close to all pubs and restaurants but slightly tucked away so noise wasn't a problem. Very modern and clean apartment. Was perfect for a weekend trip to the city. Was allowed to park in the Spanish Arch car park next door for a discounted rate

Beautiful and spacious apartment which was tastefully decorated. Full range of appliances available if needed. Plenty of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery for our large group. Location couldn't have been better - only a ten minute slow stroll to all the main bars and restaurants in one direction and the same to Spanish Arch and the museum in the other. Good communication from the host.
