We hit Galway during a spate of bad weather and probably can't give Eyre Square it's due. It is a very nice green space in the middle of downtown Galway. Try to go when it isn't pouring!

Don't bother, too many stall of crap, too many stalls of same same food.
Had been hoping for proper artisan stalls, dint find any just stalls with rude stall holders. In fairness the Christmas ornament stall were fantastic, so lovely to deal with, but other than that the stall holders spoke to customers like they owned them a living. Very very disappointed.
Last time I'll go. Would rather support my local small businesses.

Very relaxing and enjoyable.
Very relaxing and enjoyable. During the summer months, if the weather is good, it is nice to buy a take away coffee/lunch and bring it over to the green area in the square. There is seating but it is also nice to chill on the grass. The place is buzzing with people of all ages and if you are lucky, many wonderfully talented musicians will be playing/performing in the surrounding area. In the winter and in particular at Christmastime, there is a Christmas market and the place is amazing. Shopping in Galway is the best with a huge variety of shops in the city centre and plenty of shopping centres. The buzz is just amazing. It's a student's and artist's paradise any time of the year.

Ideally situated off of Eyre Square. We could walk everywhere we needed to go. The hotel validated our Parking in the QPark Eyre Square parking garage which cut the day price in half! Staff were chatty and polite. There were 2 bottles of water and tea/coffee facilities in the room which was appreciated.
Location excellent close to Eyre square. Free car parking pretty close to accommodation. Spacious apartment for family of 4 . Separate bathrooms for the 2 bedrooms and well equipped kitchen with microwave, oven, hob and toaster . Large fridge freezer . Good sized table for meals .
We've been to the Galmont a few times before and it's always been really good. The staff are lovely, the rooms clean and the location is fabulous, just off Eyre Square.
We had accidentally booked two rooms instead of one and this was sorted out for us quickly which I appreciated.
The breakfast spread was fabulous both mornings. Unlike some other hotels, it's worth having breakfast in the Galmont.
Our apartment was absolutely lovely. The view on the balcony was truly breathtaking and it’s right in the centre of salthill. Everything is within 2/3 minute walk away and the city centre is only like 10 mins drive. There is also a bus stop directly outside the apartment that brings you to eyre square in 15mins. We will definitely be back!
The hotel is an excellent location, within very easy walking distance to Quay Street and Eyre Square. Our room was clean and comfortable, with beautiful decor. We have never stayed in a hotel that doesn’t have onsite staff and I was a little unsure about it before we went but everything was easy to access, with clear instructions sent via email well before we arrived.
Location and staff are wonderful. We ad a Suite and the views were lovely over Eyre Square the room was very well appointed. Breakfast was good and the hotel was super clean
This little hotel is just a very short walk from Eyre Square, not even ten minutes from Spanish Arch. Also you have the deal with Q park for your car. Breakfast till 10am during the week and 11am at the weekend. Brilliant.
We greeted by the super friendly receptionist (the ozzie girl) , she helped us and happy to answer any questions we had. Checked us in early as our rooms were ready , and offered to hold our bags if the rooms wernt ready.
The room was super clean and cozy, the hotel is bang in the middle of eyre square. So very convenient.
