The room is stylish, beautiful and got so much space, everything is nice and we felt so cozy for the whole stay! Staff are really helpful and friendly, their online check in service definitely saved some time for us as it was quite late when we arrived. they also offer free glass of Champaign, made us feel so warm.

Holyrood Park

The vast, green expanse of Holyrood Park is best experienced from Arthur’s Seat, the park’s craggy peak and a long-dormant volcano. As you make your way up the winding paths, you’ll take in the delicate remains of the 15th-century St Anthony’s Chapel as well as the ruins of four 2,000-year-old hill forts.

Fabulous walking area, if you go up King Arthur's Seat the last section of the climb is very steep and rocky, please wear suitable footwear. St. Anthony's Chapel Ruins on Whinny Hill so worth a visit, great views.

We loved it here but we were really just walking through on our way to the Castle. Next time we go I would like to spend more time here. So lovely. Lots of benches to sit at. Beautiful views. Coffee shop for refreshments. Long queues though.

A must to visit if you have the time.

A must to visit if you have the time. A large area to chill out in and explore. When we lived in Edinburgh, we used to go there a lot with our young family. The energetic can go to the top of 'Arthur's Seat' for panoramic city views, or just go feed the ducks at the other end of the park.

When visiting the Park it is worth following the path around Holyrood, albeit it is 3.3 miles long, and one side is far steeper, but shorter than the other side, but the views of the City, from the top and side, and on clear days, Portobello harbour, the Firth of Forth, as well as the Rail and Road Bridges at Queensferry, is well worth the effort, and of course exercise!
