Thanks to Alessandra at the front desk for her fantastic service and hospitality. The room she moved us to was outstanding. The bed, toiletries, towels, slippers, everything was superb quality. Housekeeping staff were absolutely fantastic, and so was bartender Luigi at the American Bar. Alessandra and Mandy at reception, and also the man at reception on the day I checked out, were all fantastic. Basically mostly everyone was fab, and the concierge guys are as usual absolutely fantastic, especially the man in the bowler hat (sorry did not get a chance to ask for his name) is such a lovely man. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Big Ben

If your doorbell chimed this loud, it’s safe to say that your neighbours would have moved out long ago. For miles around, you’ll hear Big Ben’s legendary melody from the bell tower in the Houses of Parliament. The latter was once an 11th-century palace, repurposed centuries ago as the seat of Britain’s parliament.

I didn't go inside, but just seeing it from outside is an amazing experience. Wait to hear it mark the time. It's not worth it to visit the Palace of Westminster. The ticket is expensive, the visit is very short, disorganized and not well signed. Seeing it from outside is the best experience

If your trip is only to see the clock tower and Big Ben, wait until at least 2023 as at present, it is being supported and is covered in scaffold. The bell is only rung on special occasions at the moment. The Houses of Parliament are visible as is the Abbey.

The property is spacious, modern, clean and provides easy access either by walking or public transport to major attractions. Like Buckingham Palace, Westminster Cathedral, Big Ben and the theatre district. There’s cute pubs across the road and around the corner, Tesco express and plenty of places for coffee. As first time visitors England, this location was perfect.

Staff members were always nice and helpful. The room was quite big, and there was a big kitchenette you can use. You're quite close to Westminster (you can see Big Ben from the top floors). Although I didn't try it, the hotel bar always felt quite lively and inviting.
