I like the fact that each bed is furnished with lights, shelves, USB ports as well as electric outlet, an curtain for privacy as fellow roommates arrive at all hours of the night without disturbing my sleep. There are wall hooks for clothes. The bathroom is always clean. The staff were very friendly and offered help. It is within walking distance from the train as well as bus terminal.

Situated in Caen’s city centre, the Best Western Plus Le Moderne is a non-smoking hotel and is just 1.5 km from the train station and 6 km from Carpiquet Airport.

Everything was simply perfect. Starting from the reservation way before we arrived I contacted the hotel to ask about parking and they supplied exact and very easy explanation to get to the hotel parking which they reserved a spot for me (highly convenient). The staff at the reception were very informative and pleasant. They were eager to give us explanations about what there is to do in the city and also where to go eat (we didn't book breakfast at the hotel). The hotel is located right in the center but yet at a very quiet spot and within walking distance from every touristic site. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Overall perfect stay, too bad we could stay for only one night. Definitely coming back :)

This was a fantastic stay in a great location, where everything is walkable! The rooms were nice and simply, exactly as pictured, but had everything you needed. The staff was friendly and helpful! We opted for the breakfast and it was a nice spread!

How central it was to walk to the shops and bars. Also it had parking which in that location was very helpful.
