We were friends travelling together. We were in the penthouse and it was perfect. Lively terrace. Able to separate the bed and sofa bed area. And each section had its own TV and wardrobe. Big bathroom. 2 sinks. Lots of wardrobe space. Big bed. Windows that could be open. Screens that came down to cover the windows. Lovely views from the good sized terrace where you coujd have entertained.

Excellent hotel with very good location. Everything to see is at around 15-40 min. walking distance. Clean, new, good staff. The restaurant on the 12th floor also very good with a nice view and good prices.

Excellent Opera house, with a great seat pretty much...

Excellent Opera house, with a great seat pretty much anywhere, as it is a medium size opera house. Saw the NY Met's version of Medea last season, which was great, but the production here was even better! Note that online booking system has a 3D visualizer when choosing seating and none are cheap, but a fair value for the quality of the production.

Steps away from the bustle of Mercado San Miguel and Sol metro station and the calm of Plaza de Santiago, Teatro Real and Opera metro station. Strikingly beautiful historic building, 5 corner apartments, 1 per floor, with wrap around balconies. We were on the top floor with amazing views. Keyless entry, the host communicated all necessary details via messaging in a timely and crystal clear fashion.
