The zone itself, it’s near at the central, but it was calm and good to sleep. Very good staff and good breakfast.

The location was excellent. So near to the Metro station, which is only 3 stops away from Atocha (the main rail) station and 8 stops away from the main shopping street in Madrid city. There is a Panaria just next door, for times when you don’t wish to take the hotel’s buffet breakfast. 2 large supermarkets nearby. I actually chose this hotel because it is only a few minutes walk to the only SSPX chapel in Madrid.
