This hotel offers exceptional service and a range of in-house restaurants, plus a beautiful outdoor pool area. The view is stunning, with small cruise boats drifting along the Nile, creating a picturesque scene. Breakfast is especially impressive, with an extensive buffet that seems endless—definitely worth experiencing!

Fantastic location for all the tombs. They are only a few mins away by taxi. The hotel can provide a driver if required. I took this option for convenience and comfort and I highly recommend Ahmed in this regard. The hotel is also very chilled and relaxing. I had some work to catch up on while I was there and the wifi was adequate for this . The rooms are functional and clean. The shower pressure is good. The bed was comfortable. The food is very good , tasty and freshly prepared. The staff are very helpful and all work hard to make your stay memorable. The hotel is run by Mr Sayed and he is very helpful and knowledgeable. He can arrange any trip you need and provide a driver as well.

The attractions are wonderful.. few tips, very pushy market stall holders!! your entry ticket fee includes 3 tombs but not the ‘big name’ tombs that’s an extra cost.. options once inside entry gate either walk the hill or pay again for golf buggy transfer.. there is provision for wheelchairs but not one for hire.. the security guards at each tomb are lovely and will assist you, most speak good English. WC facilities are questionable, the cafe at the tomb entrance is out of action so take water with you.

Spectacular place to visit. Not as awe inspiring as the Pyramids of Giza, but perhaps a bit more interesting. They charge a bit more to enter the King Tut tomb......pay it. You won't be disappointed.

no need to engage the hustling tour guides as all the tombs open to the public are together. well signed posted and all the information they impart is in the Lonely Planet Guide book. As they cannot enter the tombs they assume their credibility is to sell you expensive photo packs and arrange a generous gift for them after the conclusion of the tour

6am-10am is the best time to visit the tombs.

6am-10am is the best time to visit the tombs. Don't buy the Luxor premium Pass ( 220 euros for adult and 110 euros for student- it would be half price if you bought Cairo Pass already) as it isn't worth it, (it is supposed to cover the tomb of Nefertari but the tomb is closed atm). They haven't provided us any information about what are included in the Luxor Pass or the Premium Pass. Only one advantage is not to be queued at the entrance to the tombs.

Be aware of the entry fees.

Be aware of the entry fees. Set I alone was an extra 1800LE - nearly £28 per person - the cost per person for all the tombs, including Tutankhamun was £46 each!! Set I was very good, Tut's tomb just had his remains in it. The rest is in the Egyptian Museum.

A ticket only gets you into a few tombs and which ones are open rotates. King Tut is a separate ticket. Not the most exciting tomb (since he died young there wasn't much time to make a big tomb), but his mummy is there.

Welcoming hosts, airport pick up, Valley of the Kings guided tour organisation, simming pool, top roof with a view on the Nile and mountains, good breakfast with local products, nice view from my room, balcony. They keep saying they want to help and be there for you and they are. The hotel staff is very nice, I want to thank Khaled and Zak in particular.

A stunning location on the tranquil west bank, with views of the Colossi of Memnon. Spacious rooms, a wonderful pool, and a friendly staff. Saraya El Omda arranged a tour for me with my guide, and it was exactly what I had hoped for: a solo Nile cruise, plus excursions to Dendera, Karnak, Luxor, and the Valley of the Kings. Exploring Egypt can sometimes be challenging for solo travelers, but the hotel staff were incredibly generous and helpful. I will definitely be back!

The Nerfetiti Hotel's location is perfectly placed for the sights of Luxor, and of course the souk and posh hotels full of history like the Winter Palace. The restaurant serves great food and the staff are SO helpful and friendly. I recommend the hotel for anyone looking for a small, friendly place to stay. The Magic Carpet tours are amazing and our guide for the Valley of the Kings, Karnak and Luxor Temples was incredible.

Amazing view of the Nile and the west bank and Valley of the Kings from the (5th floor) room. Super clean room, walk-in shower, huge comfortable double bed and good-size balcony. Water bottles were offered daily and a plate of fruits on arrival. All the staff were very kind and helpful. We tried the Lebanese and the Italian restaurant and they were both very good. Overall, our stay at this hotel exceeded our expectations.

The location is really nice, around 5min walk from the public ferry. The place itself is a little paradise, we had a nice terrace for ourselves. The apartment is the best we ever had in Egypt, the bathroom is very clean. Mohamed gave us good advice and good prices for the Luxor tour by taxi (Valley of the Kings/Queens, temple). Fair price for the area

This small family run hotel is a real gem. Spotlessly clean , quite and relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff ready to help you with everything you need. From private drivers to bike rental. Ahmed and family will go above and beyond to cater for your every need. The location is very good too, close to the valley of the kings and all the sites in the west bank. The spacious and airy rooms are spread around a beautiful swimming pool and there's a little bar too. The best stay I've had in Egypt by far.
