We were traveling as a family, hotel Adlon is definitely family friendly hotel. We enjoyed a breakfast and specially spa/ sauna area. Big plus for cigar lounge and a fantastic cigar shop. Will return for sure on our next Berlin trip.

It is a must see location but the Instagram and Social Media...

It is a must see location but the Instagram and Social Media Content creators have turned it into a circus. Unpleasant watching "models" and "influencers" posing without any consideration of others in such a place. I am sure none of them took 10 seconds to understand the historical importance of this area.

We unfortunately didn't see the lights during the night, they were switched off, but make sure to go and see it then, it would be very beautiful, local friends told us usually the lights don't go off but we were unlucky.

Amazing sight in day or night.

Amazing sight in day or night. Nice seating on the riad/area leading up to the gate & easy access to Reichstag & River walk as well as the long road to the victory column - all worth a visit!

Grab a table at the cafe outside the Adlon and just sit for...

Grab a table at the cafe outside the Adlon and just sit for a bit with a drink and a snack - or have a meal; the food is great. Read up on the history and pay attention to the lines of the Cold War era walls in this area. - There's a great photo just inside the Adlon entrance that has the disabled ramp to really help you see where the walls were with relation to the Gate.

Leonardo hotel is a cozy hotel in a very good location near the avenue leading towards Brandenburg gate and the city center. The hotel itself is not fancy, but it has all the necessary amenities, welcoming and attentive staff, rooms big and equipped enough and a very rich breakfast. Value for money is probably its best asset. They should also be very proud of their staff - at the reception and in the breakfast area especially.

One of the highlights of our trip through Europe so far was sitting on the balcony, over looking the square of Pariser Platz with an uninterrupted view of the Brandenburg gates, drinking a beer and listening to a musician in the square playing a violin. It is a memory that I will always think of when I remember Berlin.The view was amazing. The apartment was neat and tidy and the location was excellent

I liked the location of the apartment - super close to the Brandenburg gate, Reichstag and other locations. Transport was easy to get from Friedrichstraße if I needed to get a train somewhere. The apartment was very nice too and contained all of the necessities, including a coffee machine!

The hotel is in a great location, close to all the major sites such as the Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie etc. The lobby bar is stylish, welcoming and comfortable. There are two great bars on the side streets next to the hotel- both serving authentic German dishes. The bedroom was clean and spacious with a nice big bed.

Loved the location of the hotel, within a 10 minute gentle walk from the iconic Checkpoint Charlie location of Berlin Mitte. The Brandenburg Gate, Tier Garten, Bundestag as well as Alexander Platz and the TV Tower were all within a lovely walk via the amazing Friedrichstraße street running right next to the hotel.

Close to Checkpoint Charlie and a number of other touristy destinations such as the Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag, Deutscheland Museum, Espionage Museum or Jewish Museum. It was clean and provided good comfortable accommodation assuming you were out and about. (No room to sit other than in bed or at a very small desk for example.) I was glad the window could be opened and hot or cold water was available on the floor if you wanted a cuppa.
