The Christmas Market in the plaza was one of the best we visited. Great markets, lighting, an ice rink and Santa flying across the sky. There are some great places to eat there and metro station right there. There's also a mall nearby (Alexa)

The room overlooked the courtyard, so it was quiet. Even the smallest room felt quite spacious and had a large, comfortable bed. Breakfast was good and tasty. The hotel is in a great location: there’s a tram stop nearby (just two stops to Alexanderplatz), a bus stop close by, and a delicious pizzeria with a mini-mart next door. Great value for money.

Brilliant location. A 5 minute walk from AlexanderPlatz train station which is also where you will find some key attractions like the TV tower. Apartment was perfect for what we required and was kitted with cooking facilities and an iron, hair dryer and wardrobe storage. Very clean and there were no disturbances whilst inside the apartment block.

The hotel is perfectly situated for transport links and is a short 20 minute walk to Alexanderplatz. It's in a quiet area but is still close to the main hub of the city. All staff we encountered were welcoming, helpful and spoke great English. The room is equipped with a kettle, tea, coffee, fridge, hairdryer. The WIFI was good, the TV had a few British channels and the shower was hot and powerful! We would stay here again.

“The hotel is excellently located, 500 m from Alexanderplatz. The breakfast is varied, the rooms are spotless, small in size but very comfortable and equipped with absolutely everything you need. Very close to a City Bus Hop-On Hop-Off stop, with the possibility to purchase any type of transport ticket, the Berlin Welcome Card, or a city bus tour directly from the hotel reception. A charming Italian restaurant (Kiyano) is just a few steps away, and Hofbrau, with local cuisine, is only two more steps further.

The hotel is brilliantly located in central Berlin near Alexanderplatz and served so well by trams, U and S Bahn, and trains from the airport. We arrived after 1am after a late flight and the check in at the hotel was excellent with a 24hr front desk. Our room was spacious with a shower. Breakfast was continental in style and generous - perfect for what we needed to set us up for a day of exploring. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Just the perfect base to explore the city and such very good value for money too!

A&O are budget hotels, they also have hostel beds, we had a room with 6 beds. The hotel is very large with several buildings in a courtyard, a bit unpersonal, but good for groups. Location was good, a short walk from the Ostkreuz train station, and from there it was easy to get to the airport or the city center with frequent trains to Alexanderplatz or Hbf. Lots of restaurants in the area in different price classes. Two large supermarkets just around the corner.
